After the Affair: Falling into a Billionaire’s Arms
Chapter 365
Julian said irritably, “Then go take another lap. Just don’t forget to come back for breakfast.”
He opened the fridge and started pulling out ingredients.
Louisa glanced his way.
When she noticed Julian looking back at her, she quickly averted her gaze and headed outside.
Julian frowned.
100%
Louisa didn’t actually go to the garden.
She was only wearing Julian’s shirt – though it was oversized, the hem hanging to her thighs- she had nothing on underneath. Even with just the two of them in the villa, she still felt exposed.
In the end, she just wandered around his beautiful glass house.
Lipstick on the piano lid.
A woman’s watch next to the magazines on the coffee table.
Looking outside, she spotted lace draped over the lounge chair in the back garden
All things that only a woman would use are scattered everywhere.
She’d already drawn her conclusion – a woman was definitely living here.
So if someone else was here, why had he brought her to this place?
A dull ache settled in Louisa’s chest.
She wanted to ask Julian, but didn’t know where to start.
She lifted her head, watching clouds drift across the sky. Suddenly, they didn’t seem leisurely at all – more like idiots who’d been placed in the sky and forgotten how to come down.
Or maybe she was the idiot.
She laughed self–mockingly. In the end, she decided not to ask.
Last night had been wonderful. That was enough for her. If she asked, it would just make it seem like she was taking this too seriously.
She returned to the dining area.
Julian had already prepared breakfast and set it on the table.
Fried eggs, milk, salad, and freshly toasted bread.
Louisa smiled, acting as if nothing had happened, as if she’d discovered nothing,

She praised him generously. “Mr. Tudor has such amazing culinary skills. Even the simplest ingredients become delicious and beautiful in your hands.”
She sat down, picked up her knife and fork, and ate slowly.
Julian didn’t move, just sat across from her watching.
Louisa asked curiously, “Why are you staring at me? Eat.”
Julian: “I’m wondering – our brilliant Ms. Forbes, aren’t you curious where all this food came from?”
Louisa paused, then said lightly: “What’s there to ask? It’s obviously yours.”
Julian: “I haven’t been here recently.”
Louisa: “Then… you had staff send it over.”
“Louisa!”
Julian’s expression turned cold.
Louisa set down her silverware and sighed helplessly. “I don’t ask, you insist I say something. I say something, you get upset. What do you want?”
Julian fell silent immediately, staring directly at Louisa, making no effort to hide his displeasure.
But ultimately, he gave up on saying anything more. He simply stated, “Early this month, my sister stayed here for a while. She had the groceries and milk delivered. Those feminine products are all hers, too.”
Louisa’s eyebrows shot up in surprise. “Your sister?”
Julian: “Don’t believe me? I’ll call her right now and have her explain.”
He reached for his phone, his expression still grim.
Louisa quickly pressed down on his hand. “Don’t call.”
Julian asked her: “So who did you think was living here?”
That righteous, slightly angry tone – like their roles had reversed, as if he was the one who’d discovered traces of another person.
Louisa was successfully thrown off balance, saying guiltily: “I thought it was one of your… female friends.”
Julian’s expression grew even colder.
Louisa quickly explained: “Even if there was someone, it would be normal. You are, after all… a normal man with normal needs. Having… having someone like that would be perfectly normal…
She forced herself to finish the sentence.
Because Julian’s expression was frighteningly cold. “Female friend? You think it’s normal for me to have a female friend? You could accept that?
Louisa couldn’t find words.
Do what if a wase: normal, if she couldn’t accept it?

She’d already tried to keep the peace, giving him space and freedom. What was there to be angry absent?
She stayed quiet for a moment.
Seeing he had no intention of dropping the subject, Louisa decided to make things crystal clear. What I mean is, I won’t interfere with your private life. was just thinking – if you had another woman, or other plans, car relationship would end there. I don’t like sharing a man with somente ale and we fight over someone else’s man.”
She absolutely despised that whole competitive female drama. Had all the men in the world died or something?
Julian’s temple throbbed with irritation.
The air fell into a terrifying stillness.
Julian sighed silently and beckoned to her. “Come here.”
Louisa paused for a moment but didn’t move.
Ill have someone bring me clothes. I’m going home.”
She stood to head upstairs to find her phone
Before she’d taken more than a few steps, bulian swept her up and carried her toward the living room.

Louisa’s hands pressed against his chest in resistance.

Louisa felt frustrated. What was he angry about now?
She was the one who should be upset.
She refused to let him kiss her, angnly biting the tongue bed shipped into her moth
