Chapter 377
Julian smiled faintly. “If she upsets Louisa, that’s fine–I’m willing to make it right. I’ll coax Louisa until she’s happy again. But every time
Teresa provokes her, I’ll demote her once.”

He turned to look at Adeline. “Since she’s your protégé, you should warn her. She gets three chances. Once they’re used up, she’s out of the
Tudor Group. No amount of pleading will help then.”
“You-”
Adeline was shocked. Had he gone this far for Louisa?
What kind of spell had that woman cast on him?
“Oh, one more thing.”
Julian’s tone was leisurely.
Adeline was about to have a heart attack. Her voice trembled. “What else could you possibly have to say?”
Hadn’t he said enough tonight?
Julian stared at her coldly.
In that moment, he dropped all courtesy and politeness, his attitude ice–cold and resolute. “If Teresa dares lay a finger on Louisa, if she dares
harm her in any way, I’ll end her.”
The final statement radiated pure dominance.
Adeline’s face turned completely pale.
She looked at her son in disbelief. “Why are you being so cruel to Teresa? he grew up with you. She just loves you. She hasn’t even-
‘I don’t care what her situation is. She harms Louisa? Absolutely not.”
Julian had no interest in discussing Teresa. He cut his mother off before she could finish.
He rose from his chair. “I came back tonight to hear your thoughts. Now now where you stand. I’m leaving,”
As he stood, his gaze fell on the diamond bracelet.
Adeline’s voice shook. “What are you doing?”
Julian picked up the bracelet. “Didn’t you say that taking back a gift would be disgraceful? You gave it away without consulting me and had no intention of taking it back. Clearly, this thing isn’t all that important.”
The moment he finished speaking.
He dropped the bracelet.

Chapter 377
It shattered on the ground.
A three–hundred–million–dollar bracelet, destroyed just like that.
Adeline froze in shock.

Julian left without looking back.
On his way downstairs, he ran into William coming out of the study.
William smiled cheerfully and reached to clasp his son’s shoulder. “Julian! It’s rare to see you at home. Come play a game of chess with me.”
Julian gave him a cold smile, brushed off his hand, and headed downstairs
William stood there, stunned. What just happened?
Julian rarely showed emotion, and he never gave his father the cold shoulder directly.
Oh no.
This had to be about Louisa.
Watching Julian descend the stairs, William rushed upstairs to find his wife in the garden.
Adeline still hadn’t snapped out of it. She sat in the garden chair, staring Blankly at the shattered bracelet on the ground.
William hurried over, asking anxiously, “What happened?”
Seeing her husband, all of Adeline’s pent–up grievances came flooding out!
She clung to William, crying. “Honey, your son yelled at me. He smashed my bracelet. He threatened and intimidated me.”
William had no idea what had transpired. He asked her to explain.
Through her tears, Adeline recounted everything.
William was speechless.
Looking at the shattered bracelet on the ground, he understood–this was heir son’s resolve, and his warning shot to them.
Adeline asked pitifully, “What do we do now?”
William sighed. “What’s broken is broken. We have four sons and only one bracelet. It wouldn’t have been appropriate to give it to any single one of them anyway. Maybe it’s for the best.”
Adeline smacked his arm. I’m not talking about the bracelet! I’m talking out our son!”
William let out another sigh. “Don’t you know your own son by now? He sms easygoing enough–he’ll let his siblings have whatever they
want because he loves them and doesn’t care about material things. But one someone crosses his line, when he gets angry, no one can stop
him.”

Adeline nodded. She knew that much.

She gradually calmed down. “You’re right. Tonight, he was just giving us a warning. He hasn’t completely broken with us yet. Let me think this through.”
“Our son responds to gentleness, not force. We can’t push him.”
“From what you’ve told me, Louisa is smart and rational. She’s been through the Capulet family’s world–she should know our family won’t accept her.”
“We’ll just wear her down. Wait for Louisa to face reality and leave Julian.”
“Julian won’t listen to us, but he’ll listen to Louisa, won’t he? I don’t believe that if Louisa says it’s over, he’ll keep clinging to her pathetically.”
William listened without responding.
He wanted to say that if Julian truly cared for Louisa that much, they should just let them be together.
After all, the Tudor family didn’t need to sacrifice their children’s happiness.
Whether they formed strategic marriages or not didn’t really matter.
But he didn’t dare voice those thoughts.
Otherwise, his wife would get angry again and ban him from their bedroom tonight.
Finally, he just smiled at Adeline and patted her shoulder. “Alright, I’ll follow your lead. Break them up if you can, but you’d better be confident you won’t make things irreparable. If he walks away from the company, are you expecting me to run that massive operation alone?”
Adeline scoffed. “Is it really that serious? He was fine when he was with Tresa before, wasn’t he? Six years ago, he even left home for six years because of Teresa. How did that turn out? He doesn’t like her anymore. Men’s feelings–they come fast and leave faster.”
William protested, “If you’re going to talk about Julian, talk about Julian. Don’t lump me in with that. I’ve been devoted to my wife from the start. Besides, I don’t think Julian’s feelings for Teresa back then were actually love.”
“What did you say?”
Adeline glared at him.
William smiled apologetically and didn’t continue.
He believed that six years ago, Julian hadn’t left home because he loved Teresa–it was because Jonathan loved Teresa.
Julian left to help them both and to completely extinguish Teresa’s hopes for him.
Who could have predicted Teresa would turn out to be someone consumed by love?
Julian left for six years, and she waited for six years.
Who could have imagined that once Julian set his heart on Louisa, there dibe no stopping him?

Whatever. He’d let them sort it out themselves.
Julian returned to his apartment at Cozy Community.
Teddy drove alongside him in silence, not daring to speak.
Julian remained silent the entire ride.
He’d always believed the Tudor family wouldn’t impose strict limitations their children’s interests or life choices.
Turned out…
He’d overestimated his mother’s tolerance and underestimated her tactics.

Even after they reached the underground garage at Cozy Community, Julian didn’t get out of the car.
Only then did Teddy venture to ask, “Mr. Tudor, Mrs. Adeline Tudor simply thinks Louisa’s background doesn’t match the Tudor family’s status. Why don’t you reveal Louisa’s true identity? Being a Miss of the Getty family–that’s as prestigious as any other family’s daughter, isn’t it?”
