Chapter 409
Louisa’s breathing became erratic.
Her mind went completely blank.
She couldn’t tell if she was happy or panicked. Her entire being felt
light and unmoored.
But then she snapped back to reality. How could this be possible?
Julian’s mother would never accept her.
Most likely, Adeline didn’t want to wage war with her son and had used some roundabout tactic to make Julian mistakenly believe his
mother had agreed.
But at the same time, this also meant that for her sake, Julian had
gone to war with his mother…
In that instant, her heart felt blocked by something–full and warm.
She wanted to say something, but ultimately couldn’t get the words
out. She just buried her face in his chest.

Chapter 409
Julian looked down at her, his fingers gently caressing her face as he
whispered in her ear, “You don’t need to worry. You don’t need to do
anything. Just follow me, okay?”
His voice was unhurried, like a gently flowing brook that entered
through her ears and flowed into her heart.
Louisa ultimately didn’t have the heart to shatter his illusion. “Okay.”
He was a fool too–a fool who wouldn’t turn back until he hit a wall.
Receiving her response, Julian’s face broke into a smile.
He cupped her face and kissed her passionately.
That day, they didn’t go anywhere, just stayed in her apartment.
Tomorrow there was the ball, and the day after they had to leave on a
business trip.
After completing a series of preparations and eating dinner, before
long, Louisa felt drowsy.
As for Vivian’s prison break, she didn’t dwell on it much and went
straight to her bedroom to sleep.

Chapter 409
Julian stayed in her study with the door closed, making phone calls.
For nearly two hours, the calls barely stopped–over twenty in total.
When the final call came through, it was already past one in the
morning.
“Mr. Tudor, we’ve basically confirmed Vivian’s escape route. Rest
assured, we’ll recapture her as soon as possible.”
Julian replied, “Thank you for your hard work.”
After hanging up, he leaned back in his chair, his entire body seeming
to release a breath of relief.
That’s right–only upon receiving this news could he truly relax.
Meanwhile, elsewhere.
On the highway.
A large shipping container truck sped through the night.
Inside the cargo container, Vivian sat surrounded by six burly, fierce-
looking men, staring at them in terror.
Chapter 409
These men were all desperadoes, currently eating and drinking
voraciously, occasionally cursing.
Someone mentioned a woman, saying she was the best he’d slept with
recently.
This piqued the curiosity of the others. Some couldn’t help but turn
to look at Vivian.
Then more and more eyes–lewd eyes–turned her way.
Vivian cursed in fear, “What are you looking at? I need to see my
aunt. I want to call my aunt.”
These scum had rescued her but wouldn’t let her return to Silverlight
City, wouldn’t let her find George, wouldn’t let her kill Louisa and
Hazel.
Bastards.
Vivian cursed viciously in her mind.
The men read the disgust in her expression.
A murderer, a lunatic, looking down on them?

One of the men grabbed Vivian, tucking her under his muscular arm.
“Ms. Wolfe doesn’t have time for you right now. Just behave yourself.”
As he spoke, he threw Vivian onto a thin quilt on the container floor.
Looking down at her, he began unbuckling his belt.
Vivian was terrified, screaming frantically, “What are you doing? You
lunatic, you ugly freak, get away from me! Get away!”
She scrambled to run.
The man grabbed her hair directly and slapped her hard across the
face. “Bitch! Stay still!”
The blow left Vivian dazed. She collapsed to the ground again.
She felt like her facial bones had shattered. Her mouth filled with the
taste of blood. The pain made it impossible to breathe.
The next second, her prison uniform was violently torn open.
She screamed hysterically.
Annoyed by her noise and resistance, the man used his belt to tie her
wrists together.

Chapter 409
Unable to escape, Vivian’s slender legs kicked frantically, struggling.
Little did she know, the more she struggled, the more excited the man
became.
His rough, dry palms brutally kneaded her breasts. He forcibly spread
her legs apart and shoved his thick member into her body.
Without even giving her time to adjust, the man began moving
frantically inside her dry body.
Vivian’s screams were heart–wrenching, echoing throughout the
entire container.
Who knows how long she was tormented until a phone ringtone
sounded.
It was another man’s phone. Seeing it was Lorelei calling, he held up
the phone to the man in the midst of his brutality. “Settle down. It’s
Ms. Wolfe calling.”
The man was just getting into it, but was forced to stop.
As soon as the call connected, before the man could speak-
Vivian immediately crawled to the phone, sobbing loudly, “Aunt

Lorelei, Aunt Lorelei, save me…”
Hearing her cries, Lorelei said to the man, “Let her take the call.”
The man handed the phone to Vivian.
