I’ve been in my office for almost 2 hours but you wouldn’t think it, l’ve gotten barely any paperwork done because despite my best efforts, my mind keeps going back to last night and this morning with my mate. Last night we finally marked. Yes, I know it hasn’t been that long since we met and even less time since we mated but most mates mark each other within the first day or two so in comparison we took our time but I’m ok with that.

To be honest, with how I treated her in the beginning I’m just happy and honoured that she allowed me to mark her at all. I had hoped that we were heading in that direction but I thought she was going to make me wait a lot longer but once again she surprised me. If there’s one thing that I’m learning about my mate it’s that she doesn’t mess around, she doesn’t play games and it’s something that I very much appreciate.

Mating her was without a doubt the most incredible experience of my life, and it will be a memory that I’m never going to forget. You hear stories about how incredible the moment is but not a single story that I have heard of has come even close to what I experienced with Bonnie.

And the fact that she also wanted to mark me, that she did, well, that blew my mind. I wasn’t expecting her to be ready to do that any time soon but I’m so glad that she did. I will forever wear her mark with pride.

As for this morning… well fuck, did that throw me through a loop.

When I woke and decided to shower I expected that I would be out before she even woke but of course, I was wrong. What I wasn’t expecting was the look on her face when I first entered the bedroom.

She looked gutted and once I realised why I was determined to correct her feelings and I did and man was that fucking fun.

It seems to me that my mate has a dirty side to her. I’m not sure if shewas already aware of it or if it just happened at the moment but fuck, now that we’re both aware of it, it going to be a lot of fun to explere.! love being dominant in bed and love to take control but I’m also looking forward to bringing that side of Bonne out too. I hadn’t told her all I liked in bed yet but now that she knows, now that she’s shown some interest… Fuck, there’s going to be no stopping me.

“Knock knock!” Tony’s loud mouth shifts me from my daydreaming. I snap my head towards the direction of the door to find him, Shane, Robbie, will and my dad all standing by the entrance to my office with shit-eating grins on their faces. Fuck, how long have they been there?

“Ever heard of knocking?” I grunt as they all step inside and take seats in front of my desk. “We did for a couple of minutes, and we called you.

“Will says with a smirk across his face. “We also stood by the doorway for a minute or so while we waited for you to stop daydreaming,”

Robbie grunts but he two has a stupid grin on his face. Fuck sake, I had a feeling that they were going to say that. They may be my family but they never walk into my office without knocking unless it’s an emergency.

“Ahh, well that explains the day dreaming.” Shane chimes looking proud of himself. “What does?” I aks although I’m pretty sure that I know what he’s talking about. “That lovely mark on your neck.” Yeah that’s what I thought he was talking about. He smirks before it turns into a genuine smile. “Congratulations, brother.” His congraulations is quickly followed up by ones from all the guys and it’s very much appricated.

“So what can I do for you all? Please, don’t tell me something else has happened.” While I appricate their happiness for me, they have obviously come here for a reason and while I’m also happy that we got rid of those useless excuses for wolves yesterday, I can’t help but feel like there’s more to come. I have a niggle in my gut and whenever that happens I’m usually right.

“No, nothing has happened. However, before we talk about anything else | just want to take a minute to tell you all how incredibly proud of you l am. Nicholas, These past few weeks you have shown this pack the kind of Alpha, dad and mate that you are. I know you had doubts about having a mate but I knew that you would get there and you have and I can’t wait to see where your life with Bonnie and Lottie takes you.”

“My dad gives him a nod pride clear in his eyes and then Tony turns his attention to me.

“That brings me to why I’m here to see you. I understand that this is a big ask but I have no choice.” Ok, now he has my interest peaked. ” What is it, brother?” He takes a deep breath seeming worried about his next words. “I need to go and find the boys, I have to. So, I was hoping that you would be ok for me to leave the pack for a while. I understand if you’re not ok with it but I would prefer that you was. Wait… did he just say what I think he did? Suddenly all his words hit me at once and I’m instantly pissed.

“You think that I’m going to let you leave this pack on your own to look for those little boys?” He goes to speak but I interrupt him. “You are going to find those boys, Tony but you’re not going to do it alone. You are a part of this pack, a part of this family and there’s no way on earth that I would ever let you do this alone.”

“None of us will let you do this alone,” Shane grunts. Tony does not seem all that surprised but I can still see that little bit of shock in his eyes.”Are those boys your sons?” | ask him. “Yes.” His words are firm and make me feel proud. “Exactly so that makes them our nephews and there isn’t anything that we wouldn’t do to find them, Ton.” I see the relief in his eyes. I’m not sure why he had any doubt but it is something that I will take up with him another time but right now, we just need to forcus on those boys of his and finding them.

“We are going to find your boys, our nephews and once we have we are going to hunt down every single bastard that is involved in that sick sick cult and we are going to destroy them!” Shane growls. Everyone in the room growls their agreeance including myself.

“It will be nice to have some grandsons running around the place.” My dad chirps making Tony beam with pride. I’m not surprised that my dad has already claimed that role. I and my brothers have claimed them as our nephews so why wouldn’t he claim them as his grandchildren?

“We’re going to find them, Tony. I promise you that. No matter how long it takes, we will find them and end those mother fuckers!” I mean every single word of it. When Tony and I were rescued from the cult we thought that they were the only ones. We were wrong and for that, I think a part of me will always hold some guilt, but over my dead body will they keep doing this? We are going to find them and we are going to end them.
