(Amelia’s POV)

A deep, magnetic voice suddenly echoed from outside the hospital room door.

“As one of the victims of this accident, I have the right to know the results of the pack’s internal investigation.”

Marcus appeared first, pushing Theodore’s wheelchair into the room. Theodore’s golden eyes swept across everyone present with cold authority.

I watched Livia’s reaction carefully. The moment she saw Theodore, her aggressive demeanor completely vanished. Her face went pale with fear as she glanced nervously at Adrian.

She was clearly terrified that the Alpha King’s heir had come to demand accountability.

Adrian frowned and gestured for his mate to stay calm. His jaw was tight with tension.

Alaric looked uncomfortable. He obviously didn’t want to air the family’s dirty laundry in front of an outsider. But under Theodore’s overwhelming Alpha presence, he had no choice but to

allow him to listen.

Marcus positioned Theodore’s wheelchair right beside my bed. The butler stepped forward to begin his report.

“The parking lot surveillance shows that all of your vehicles entered the area,” the butler began formally. “However, the key camera that would have captured Miss Amelia’s car was deliberately destroyed.”

Livia immediately seized on this information.

“See? This proves it was all staged!” she exclaimed loudly. “Amelia destroyed the surveillance herself to frame my son!”

Her voice grew more shrill. “This is all an elaborate setup! She’s trying to make Caleb look guilty!”

Theodore’s cold voice cut through her accusations like ice.

“I was in that car,” he said with deadly calm. “Are you suggesting that Amelia would risk the life of her mate – the future Alpha King – just to frame Caleb?”

His golden eyes fixed on Livia with terrifying intensity. “Do you really think she would gamble with my life for such a petty revenge?”

I nodded in agreement. “Exactly. I would never risk my mate’s life to get rid of someone like Caleb.”

The logic was undeniable. Livia’s mouth opened and closed like a fish gasping for air. Her face turned an ugly shade of red as she struggled to find a response.

She had no argument against this reasoning.

The butler continued with his bombshell revelation.

“Although the public surveillance was destroyed, Moonlight Haven installed hidden cameras to protect VIP privacy. These cameras captured everything.”

He held up a tablet computer. “The footage clearly shows Caleb sneaking around Miss Amelia’s car and directing his bodyguards to sabotage the brake lines.”

The butler handed the tablet to Adrian and Livia. I watched their faces drain of all color as they viewed the evidence.

Livia swayed on her feet, looking like she might collapse.

Theodore gestured to Marcus, who took the tablet and showed it to Jaxon and Seraphina.

After watching the video, Jaxon’s face turned iron–gray with rage. Seraphina’s eyes blazed with fury.

“What do you have to say now?” Seraphina demanded, her voice shaking with anger.

She stepped closer to Livia. “Caleb getting hurt was his own fault. The fact that Amelia survived is a blessing from the Moon Goddess.”

Jaxon’s voice was deadly quiet. “Now we need to settle this account.”

Despite looking guilty, Livia began to argue hysterically.

“Fine! Yes, Caleb tampered with the car!” she shrieked. “But look at Amelia now she’s perfectly fine! Meanwhile, my son is unconscious and fighting for his life!”

Her voice grew more desperate. “You’re being unreasonable! You’re trying to destroy us when we’re already suffering!”

She pointed an accusing finger at Seraphina and Jaxon. “How can you be so heartless? We’re family!”

Seraphina’s face flushed with rage.

“If we didn’t have solid evidence, would you have shown Amelia any mercy?” she shot back. “Since Caleb is unconscious, his parents must take responsibility for his actions!”

I quietly ate the fruit Seraphina had brought me, watching my adoptive parents fight fiercely to protect me. Warmth spread through my chest at their unwavering support.

“Now this is what real family looks like,” Ava purred contentedly in my mind, her tail swishing with satisfaction.

I looked coldly at Livia and Adrian’s greedy, desperate faces. They had been willing to kill me for vanity and profit. They deserved whatever was coming.

Livia’s voice turned pleading and manipulative.

“What exactly do you want as compensation?” she cried. “Why are you so heartless? Why do you have to push us to complete destruction?”

Tears streamed down her face in a pathetic display. “Haven’t we suffered enough?”

Theodore spoke up, his tone deceptively mild.

“I’m curious to hear how you plan to handle this situation,” he said to Alaric.

Though his voice was gentle, I could feel the irresistible authority behind his words. This wasn’t a request – it was a command.

Alaric straightened his shoulders. “Adrian and Livia must accept punishment on behalf of their son.”

Adrian remained silent for a long moment, his fists clenched at his sides. Finally, he spoke through gritted teeth.

“I accept the punishment.”

His voice was bitter with resentment, but he had no choice.

Jaxon stepped forward with his conditions.

“I won’t be unnecessarily harsh,” he said formally. “But I demand to officially take over management of Stone River Botanicals. Additionally, Adrian must transfer 10% of his shares to Amelia as compensation for her trauma.”

The moment those words left Jaxon’s mouth, Adrian exploded like a wolf whose tail had been stepped on.

I watched Adrian’s furious tantrum with cold amusement. He was guilty and cornered, but still fighting desperately to protect his precious company.
