Natasha stared at the young man across the table, her brow furrowing slightly. The more she looked at Jasper Calder, the more unsettled she felt. Why did this celebrity bear such a striking resemblance to
Theodore?
She turned her head, her gaze landing on her cousin beside her. She had to admit, Theodore’s features were truly the Moon Goddess’s most perfect masterpiece. His face was sculpted and deep, flawless from every conceivable angle.
Tonight, Theodore was not wearing his usual severe, rigid black suit. Instead, he had chosen a midnight blue velvet tuxedo. The luxurious fabric caught the ambient light, shimmering with a deep, mysterious
luster.
It highlighted his noble temperament, making him look regal and commanding. Every detail, from the cut to the cuffs, screamed formality and grandeur. Natasha covered her mouth, giggling silently to herself.
It seemed her usually cold–as–ice cousin had gone to great lengths to please Amelia. He had really put thought into his appearance tonight.
Alpha King Gideon leaned slightly toward his grandson. His voice was low and authoritative.
“What did that boy Damien want just now?” Gideon asked, his eyes narrowing.
Theodore’s lips curled into a faint, polite smile.
“He merely wanted me to pass on some so–called ‘birthday gifts‘ to Amelia,” Theodore explained smoothly.
Before he could elaborate, Natasha interjected eagerly.
“Don’t worry, Grandfather,” she said, lifting her chin proudly. “I have already intercepted that eyesore of a suitcase. I won’t let that trash dirty Amelia’s eyes tonight.”
Gideon huffed a cold laugh.
“He really never changes,” the Alpha King muttered. “If it weren’t for the fact that he was lost for so many years, the Crimson family would not tolerate his recent provocations.”
As he spoke, Gideon sensed a gaze fixed upon him. He looked up. Across the round table, Jasper was watching him.
Unlike others who would tremble under the Alpha King’s scrutiny, this young man did not flinch. Jasper met Gideon’s eyes with a calm, unyielding expression. He raised his wine glass in a respectful gesture.
“It is an honor to share a table with the Alpha King,” Jasper said, his voice steady.

Adrian and Caleb, sitting nearby, looked bewildered. They exchanged confused glances. They could not understand why an entertainer, someone who sang and danced for amusement, was qualified to sit at the main VIP table.
Gideon scrutinized Jasper with a majestic, heavy stare.
“What is your name?” Gideon asked. “And what do you do?”
“Jasper Calder,” the young man replied. “I am an actor with Starlight Entertainment.”
Hearing this, the interest in Gideon’s eyes vanished instantly. He withdrew his gaze, his demeanor turning cold and indifferent. To him, an actor was of no consequence.
Jasper lowered his glass, sighing internally. The grandfather he had never acknowledged was indeed as
imposing and unapproachable as the rumors said.
Beside Gideon, Theodore maintained his composure. But in his mind, he was speaking to his wolf.
“Look at them,” Logan growled with dark amusement. “If these idiots knew that the little star they look down on has Crimson blood flowing in his veins, their expressions would be priceless.”
The atmosphere at the table grew awkward. Caleb glared at Jasper, unable to hold back his irritation.
“Why are you sitting here?” Caleb demanded rudely. “What exactly is your relationship with Amelia?”
Jasper glanced at him coolly.
“That has nothing to do with you,” Jasper replied.
His arrogant tone instantly ignited Caleb’s temper. Caleb slammed his hand on the table, about to rise, but stopped when he saw Jasper’s mocking smile.
“I can tell you this much,” Jasper added sarcastically. “My relationship with her is certainly much better than yours.”
Ethan, sitting on the other side of Adrian, let out a sneer.
“Better?” Ethan scoffed maliciously. “I bet. Knowing Amelia, there is probably some shameful, dirty deal
between you two.”
Jasper’s eyes sharpened. He looked directly at the Stone brothers.
“It is precisely because your minds are always so filthy that Amelia chose to leave,” Jasper retorted sharply. “You people do not deserve to be loved.”
Ethan’s face turned beet red. He opened his mouth to shout, his eyes filled with suppressed rage.
Natasha leaned forward, grinning mischievously. She decided to rub salt in the wound.
“Amelia arranged this seating chart specifically,” Natasha chirped. “She wanted you all to sit here and see clearly just how despicable you are compared to decent people.”
“Enough!” Alaric’s voice cracked like a whip.

The old Alpha of the Stone family glared at his grandsons.
“Do not embarrass us at this banquet,” Alaric scolded coldly.

Adrian clenched his fists tightly under the table. He was furious, but he dared not explode in front of the
Alpha King.
Lyra Drake sat silently, sipping her wine. Internally, she was cursing her father. That old fool, she thought
bitterly. He actually helps outsiders bully his own son and grandchildren.
Meanwhile, in a luxurious private box elsewhere in the city.
Lucas was sitting on a plush sofa, staring excitedly at a large screen on the wall. The screen displayed a high–definition live feed of the banquet at the Stone River Pack House.
The angle was unique, looking out from someone’s chest. It was a feed from a micro–camera disguised as a lapel pin on Adrian Stone’s suit.
Griffin Drake stood by the window, swirling a glass of red wine. A cruel smile played on his lips.
“The show is about to begin,” Griffin announced softly.
He turned his head to look at Celine, who was snuggled closely against Lucas.
“Is everything arranged?” Griffin asked.
Celine nodded obediently. She looked up at Griffin with a fawning expression.
“Yes, Mr. Drake,” she said sweetly. “Thanks to Lucas lending me two million, the plan could be
