Chapter 117-2
Robin’s face goes pale with shock. “Missing? Like… lost?”
I swallow hard, guilt crashing over me. “I’m sorry for ruining your day, Robin. I know you were really looking forward to this weekend, and I— I’m really sorry.”
Robin shakes his head immediately. “Of course not! Miss. Perseus, you don’t need to apologize for anything, I really had a lot of fun till now! And now, we should help look for him. I can’t think about my own happiness every single time!”
The five year old’s emotional maturity surprises me deeply as I stare at him,

touched.
“Robin, do you really want to look for him? I can manage it on my own, you
don’t have to-
وو
“Of course, we won’t let you manage on
your own!”
Raymond returns at that moment, cutting me off and handing me a small bottle of water in one hand and fresh orange juice
in the other.
Robin nods eagerly, “Yes, Ms. Perseus! No matter what, he is still your son.”
For a few moments, I am speechless.

“But how will we find him? We… we don’t
even know where to start.‘

“Can you ask someone what he’s wearing today? That might help people spot him.”
I nod slowly.
I definitely can’t call Imema right now. Maybe Aires would know, even though my hopes are really low. With shaking fingers, I dial his number again.
୮
Aires picks up on the first ring, his voice already dripping with fury. “What the hell do you want now, Talia?”
“I just need to know what Aeson was wearing today. For the search- I

the drama, for God’s sake! I know exactly what you’re doing, you’re obviously not going to find him, because you’re the one
who took him. You’ve decided he’s an
obstacle you are moving on in life, and this is how you’re dealing with it?”
“Aires-”
“Spare me the lecture, Talia! I know very well, that’s what people like you do. That’s what your greedy, backstabbing family taught you – how to scheme, lie, and use an innocent child as a pawn. You make me sick.”
His words slice deep. I hold back tears

with everything I have, my throat tight. He will always pin the blame on me, just like he always has- no matter what the truth might be.
Even so, I keep my voice calm. “Even before, I fulfilled all the duties of care for
our son. And even now, I’ll do the same. I don’t have the time to convince you about my innocence.”
I cut the call before he can say another
word.
I quickly dial Kaela, the maid. She answers right away. “Luna, thank God, I was waiting for your call! There is a lot of strength in a mother’s prayers… now the Young Master will definitely be found.“14:3

“Kaela, can you tell me what he was wearing when he left the house?”
I ask curtly, and she replies after a few minutes.
“Luna, the last time I saw him this morning, he was wearing a yellow shirt and navy blue shorts.”
I thank her and hang up, then turn to Robin and Raymond. “Yellow shirt and navy blue shorts.”

Robin looks lost in thought for a moment, his small brows furrowed. Then his eyes light up. “I think I know where he is!”

Aires‘ POV
I pace my office, jaw clenched so tightly it aches. Imema’s tears are still fresh in
my mind–that woman, terminally ill, had
run around in the sun for over an hour searching for my son. And Talia…
I stop by the window, staring at nothing.
How did I ever believe in her?
Ї
Bruno knocks and enters, tablet in ” hand. “Alpha, we have a preliminary report. Master Aeson was last seen at the Elephanta Joy Amusement Park. Our sources confirm he entered the premises this morning. But…” He hesitates.

“But what?”
“The surveillance footage is fragmented. We found a few clips showing… showing the Luna and Mr. Capaldi enjoying the rides. And the young master trailing behind them, alone. No one else has been spotted taking him. For now, it seems he wandered off on his own.”
He shows me the screen. Grainy images: Talia laughing on a carousel, Raymond beside her. And in the corner of the
frame, Aeson—small, yellow–shirted, standing by a trash can, looking lost.
My chest tightens.
She didn’t even notice.

I hand the tablet back. “Keep searching.
Every camera. Every exit. I want my son found.”
Bruno nods and leaves.
I sink into my chair, rubbing my temples. The anger is there–white–hot -but it’s mixed with something worse: disappointment. And beneath that, a quiet, gnawing regret.
I was a fool to marry her. A fool to think she could ever love our son the way a mother should.
My phone rings. Talia’s name.

I answer, my voice flat. “What do you
want now?”
“I just need to know what Aeson was wearing-”
“Spare me the performance.” I cut her off, the words coming out cold and deliberate. “You had him. You had him in that park, and you were too busy with your lover to watch him. Do you know what that makes you? It makes you the reason he’s missing. Not some stranger. You.” r
“Aires, please-”
“Please what? Please pretend I don’t see what’s right in front of me?” I laugh, but there’s no humor in it. “I trusted you

once. I actually believed you cared about him. That was my mistake. I regret ever letting you into our lives.”
Silence on her end. Then a shaky breath.
“I’ll find him,” she says quietly. “I’ll find my baby.”
She hangs up.
I stare at the phone for a long moment. My wolf whines inside me–mate, hurt, confused–but I push it down.
She lost our son. No matter what happens next, I will never forget that.
Talia will pay for what she’s done.
