Chapter 4
“Daddy, I’ll wait for you,” Willow said in her sweet tone.
Then, Lucian walked out of the room and went to meet Willow’s healer.
Just as he walked out of the room and left, I came across him but he didn’t even notice me.
I went straight to Aurora’s healer’s room.
But an Omega caretaker stopped me.“Ms. Silvermane, you can’t go in.”
I ignored the caretaker’s obstruction and forcefully barged in.
And I rushed up to Dr. Eleanor Graves, and pleaded with my bloodshot eyes, “Dr. Eleanor, please tell me, who
exactly took away the only medicine that was supposed to be used to treat Aurora?”
If that Elixir hadn’t been taken away, Aurora wouldn’t have died.
“Dr. Eleanor, I beg you to tell me.”
Seeing that Eleanor still remained silent, I knelt down.
As long as I could know the fact, I was willing to do anything.
“Ms. Silvermane, please don’t be like this. I really don’t know anything about that.”
Eleanor hurriedly got up and quickly helped me up as well.
I had lost quite some weight in just a few days. Looking at me, Eleanor sighed deeply.
He was a goodhearted healer and I could tell he was very sympathetic to me.
He knew it wasn’t easy for my daughter to have finally found the Elixir.
Unfortunately, it was snatched away by someone right before Aurora needed it.
That was the reason why Aurora died in the end.
Such a lovely little girl was gone just like that.
As a mother, everyone could tell I was already desperate.
But Eleanor really didn’t know.
He didn’t know who took the only does of Elixir from Aurora.
He only heard from his higher–ups that an Alpha’s daughter happened to need that medicine.
But Eleanor didn’t dare to tell anything.
I realized that I could never know the truth from Eleanor, so I left with a heavy heart.
As I passed by a healing room, a small figure suddenly dashed towards me.
At that moment, I subconsciously reached out to hold her up.
But before I could, I was forcefully pushed away by a strong force.
A familiar female voice sounded.“Don’t hurt my daughter!”

It was Ayla.
I withdrew my hands and looked over with a calm expression.
Clam in By then
Ayla, as if facing a formidable enemy, held Willow in her arms and looked at me, trying her best to restrain herself
as she said, “Seren, if you’re angry, take it out on me. Willow is still a little girl. Don’t hurt her.”
