Three days ago, my world changed.

From the moment Alanna stepped into our world, my heart has been full, my mind quieter, and everything around just seems nicer.

We’ve had Alanna’s nursery ready for months before now, but Aeliana wouldn’t let me paint it pink, so I went with a boring beige, but I still kept all the things I’d bought that scream a princess lives in this room. We haven’t gotten down to implementing any schedule with her. She’s still in that stage where she sleeps unless she’s hungry, wet or just needs to be held. I can’t wait for the day that my baby girl starts to play.

I’ve laughed at Noah for calling Trinity boring, but I’m finding my daughter boring in the cutest way possible. “Ellie, she smiled again,” I say, my gaze shifting to Aeliana who is comfortably pumping Alanna’s milk while looking at her phone.
