As soon as Natasha walked into Whittier Manor, she saw Roxanne and Joelle sitting on the couch, whispering to each

other.

The moment they saw her, they both fell silent. Their eyes were full of complicated emotions. There was hatred, hostility, and contempt, and maybe even a hint of envy.

Something just didn’t add up for Natasha. But when she stepped into the study and saw Bernard, she could hardly believe her eyes.

He barely said a word before handing her the share transfer agreement. “Sign it,” he said.

Natasha took it and glanced down; sure enough, it really was the share transfer agreement. ‘Did hell just freeze over or something?’ Natasha thought, stunned.
