Chapter 314 His Unattainable Love Was Her
Chapter 314 His Unattainable Love Was Her
It was a kiss so suffocating that it nearly stole all the air from Natasha’s lungs.
Jared’s long fingers locked around the back of her head.
His kiss was rough and unyielding, giving her no chance to break free.
He devoured every whimper, muffling all her protests.
“Mmph…” Natasha whimpered.
Natasha pressed her hands firmly against his chest…
She tried to push him away.
“Open your mouth!” Jared growled.
Jared pressed his lips firmly against hers, his voice rough and domineering as he demanded.
Natasha’s head was already spinning from his kiss, her lungs burning for air.
At his commanding tone, her soft lips parted slightly, almost before she realized it.
Jared seized the moment, prying her teeth apart and invading her mouth, conquering her with a fierce, possessive kiss.
His relentless sucking left the base of Natasha’s tongue numb.
She was utterly powerless against him.
It was the most intense, most domineering kiss, a fierce solace that left her utterly breathless.
“Why do you have to keep locking me out of your heart?” Jared’s voice was rough, his words almost melting into her lips as he spoke.
Natasha was silent.
Her silence only made Jared’s kisses fiercer.
He pushed her so relentlessly that she couldn’t help but finally give in.
“Why do you keep cornering me?” Natasha asked.
Natasha’s words were laced with anguish.
She knew there was no future for them.
So what was the point of his forcing her again and again?
Jared pressed his forehead against hers.
He was breathing hard, his chest rising and falling with every ragged breath.
“Don’t you trust me?” he asked.
His kiss still sealed Natasha’s lips.
She was helpless, unable to utter a single word.
But instinctively, she shook her head.
Natasha certainly didn’t doubt him
But there were too many things she had to worry about.
Jared didn’t let her go until Natasha was gasping for air, only then did he finally loosen his grip, letting her catch her breath.
“Just be with me. Don’t be scared,” Jared murmured, his voice deep and full of promise.
He gazed into her eyes, his hand cradling her cheek, speaking each word with fierce determination. “Even if the sky falls, I’ll be the one holding it up for you.”
Natasha’s mind was spinning, hot and confused.
Her cheeks must be burning right now.
Suddenly, she didn’t even know how to say no to him.
Instinctively, her arms wrapped around his neck before she even realized it.
Her voice was barely above a whisper as she m

The explosion was so powerful, it felt like the earth itself trembled.
Natasha’s heart lurched in her chest.
‘If Jared hadn’t gotten me out in time, we’d both be dead right now, she thought.
‘Who could be so ruthless, actually wanting me dead?
‘Could it have been Percy? Or Cheryl?’
Meanwhile, Percy was escorting Joan to the villa.
Suddenly, his phone rang. One of his men called, “Mr. Grosso…”
Percy frowned impatiently. “What is it?”
He was feeling restless about leaving Natasha behind.
And he couldn’t help but feel he’d been too impulsive just now.
‘Natasha isn’t like that, Percy thought to himself.
But now, Percy was already carrying Joan in his arms, leaving the villa behind.
Percy thought again, ‘Besides, Joan’s seriously injured. There’s no way I can turn back now.
‘Even if I messed up, I guess I have to roll with it.
‘Worst case, I’ll go back later and try to smooth things over with Natasha.
Right then, his phone rang.
Franklin Kim, his assistant, said nervously, “Mr. Grosso, I just discovered something extremely important. I’m not sure if I should tell you…”
Percy was about to chew Franklin out. ‘Why is he causing trouble at a time like this?’ he thought, irritation flashing across his face.
But when he heard it was something extremely important, he paused for a second,
Then, he barked, “Spit it out!”
Franklin said, “I just discovered someone was pulling strings behind the scenes. The real owner of that handkerchief back then wasn’t Joan. It was Natasha!”
Percy’s body swayed, as if he’d been struck by lightning.
He could hardly believe what he was hearing.
“What did you just say?” Percy blurted out, his voice trembling with disbelief.
Joan, still cradled in Percy’s arms, couldn’t help but overhear everything Franklin said on the phone.
All at once, panic washed over her.
‘I never saw this coming. Percy actually found out at a time like this? What do I do now? What if Percy finds out I was the one lying to him?’ Joan thought, her mind spinning in disbelief.
Joan didn’t even dare to imagine what would happen if Percy discovered the truth.
“Ow, it hurts!” Joan suddenly cried out, her delicate brows furrowing in pain.
Percy’s attention was instantly drawn back to her by her outburst.
Joan was just about to feel a flicker of hope.
But then Franklin reported again on the phone, “Someone was definitely pulling strings behind the scenes, deliberately misleading our investigation and feeding us false info.
“But after all this time double-checking and digging, I can finally say for sure. The owner of that handkerchief was Natasha, no doubt about it.
“And based on my investigation, the school Natasha went to, and the years she attended, line up exactly with yours.”
Percy’s head was spinning, his mind reeling from the shock.
He was stunned, left speechless.
The woman Percy had been desperately searching for all this time turned out to be his ex-wife.
If only he’d known Natasha was the woman he’d always cherished in his heart, his unattainable love…
Why did he go through all that trouble looking for someone else?

‘How could I have been so blind as to let her go? How did it ever come to a divorce?’ Percy thought.
In that instant, regret crashed over Percy like a tidal wave.
He thought, ‘God, I was such a fool.
‘What a complete joke I’ve made of myself.
‘The woman I loved had been right by my side all along, and I was totally oblivious.
‘Instead, I ended up hurting Natasha time and time again.”
“Smack! Smack!”
Percy slapped himself hard, twice right across the face…
“Percy, are you okay?” Joan asked tentatively, concern flickering in her voice.
Percy shot Cheryl a sharp, icy glare, his eyes full of fury.
“You lied to me?” Percy demanded.
Percy exuded a terrifying aura of hostility.
His hand closed tightly around her throat.
Joan couldn’t breathe, panic rising in her chest.
She could barely breathe, feeling like she was about to pass out.
“I didn’t…” Joan choked out.
She shook her head frantically, clawing at his hand. She was desperate to break free from his grip.
But Percy’s grip was vice-like around her throat, refusing to loosen even a bit.
Tears welled up in Joan’s eyes.
Her cheeks turned a dark, purplish red.
She was about to suffocate to death.
