Natasha turned her head and shot Percy a look full of disgust.

She was just short of saying that she could go anywhere, as long as she didn’t have to be with him.

Jared had called her yesterday, but since she missed it, he hadn’t contacted her again.

‘Is he so busy that he doesn’t have time for me anymore?’ she wondered.

A day ago, Jared had just flown back on his private jet.

Lizzie stopped him at the airport as soon as he arrived.

“Hey, Jared, fancy seeing you again. Guess fate wants us to cross paths,” Lizzie said.

She knew Jared was totally into Natasha.

The more he showed it, the more it pissed Lizzie off.

Lizzie grumbled to herself, ‘What makes Natasha so special that she gets all of Jared’s attention?

‘Meanwhile, he never even bothers to look at me.

‘I’m just as good as Natasha in every way, so why does Jared act like I don’t even exist?’

“Natasha!” Lizzie said with a playful smile, acting like it was a casual mention.

“I saw her and Percy checking in together earlier. They looked like they were about to go on vacation together… I’m pretty sure they’re rekindling their old flame.”

She dropped just enough of a hint, said what she wanted, and then walked away, leaving Jared hanging.

She knew Jared would do his own digging.

Meanwhile, Percy had orchestrated everything behind the scenes.

He wanted Jared to investigate and end up chasing the wrong lead.

Sure enough, as soon as Lizzie walked off, Jared turned to his guys and said, “Check if Percy and Natasha are booked on any recent flights.”

They got back to him fast. “Mr. Rundell, there’s a flight to Majestika, the latest one. And both Percy and Natasha are on the

list.”

Jared’s face instantly darkened.

Jared wondered, ‘Is Percy about to take Natasha to Majestika?

Percy led Natasha toward the restaurant.

Suddenly, a little girl carrying a basket of flowers stepped in front of them, blocking their way.

“Sir, why don’t you buy a rose for this pretty lady? Roses mean true love. You two will be together forever, growing old hand in hand,” the little girl chirped.

She was clearly a pro at this. She could spot a couple from a mile away.

She knew exactly what to say to make the sale.

Percy was eating up every word the little girl said, feeling his ego get a nice boost.
