Percy thought, ‘Hey, at least I’m her ex-husband.

‘But Jared? What about him?

‘What right does he have to take Natasha away in front of me?’

Jared lowered his gaze, looking at Natasha in his arms with a tender and loving expression.

Jared’s lips curled into a pampering smile. “What, Natasha, you haven’t told him yet that I’m your boyfriend?”

Percy thought, ‘Boyfriend?

Percy’s look at Nat got even more intense and conflicted.

“At a time like this, you still won’t make our relationship public?” he murmured.

His hand landed right on the spot that always made her weak.

Natasha’s body shivered, and she nearly melted in his arms.

Percy witnessed the scene unfold right before his eyes.

A raging fire of jealousy ignited in his chest.

He felt an overwhelming impulse to snatch Natasha straight out of Jared’s arms, right then and there.

However, Jared acted as if he owned the place, utterly confident and not worried.

He could see Percy was burning with jealousy, but he kept fanning the flames.

“Hope you don’t mind, Mr. Grosso. My girlfriend’s a bit shy,” Jared said.

Percy was so furious he nearly ground his teeth to dust.

We just got divorced, and Natasha’s already his girlfriend? How did that happen so fast?’ Percy thought.

He stared at Natasha, eyes blazing with disbelief and jealousy. “Are you two together or what?”

He jabbed a finger at Jared as he demanded.

It was obvious he wasn’t leaving until he got an answer.

Natasha fumbled for words, her voice shaky. “He and I…”

It was not like she didn’t want to pretend.

But if she used Jared to trick Percy, the consequences would be more than she could handle.

Jared fixed Natasha with a deep, smoldering stare, his eyes never leaving her for a second.

His voice dropped to a low, dangerous murmur. “Baby, why don’t we give him a real demonstration…?”

Natasha barely had a second to figure out what Jared meant by “prove it” before he suddenly swooped in.

Without warning, Jared crashed his lips onto hers, kissing her fiercely, right on her soft lips.

For a split second, Natasha’s brain exploded. She was stunned, as if her mind had been hit by lightning.

‘Is Jared kissing me in front of Percy on purpose?’ Natasha thought.

She wanted to push him away.

But then she thought, ‘Well, since he’s already kissing me, I might as well play along and make it convincing.

‘Let’s make Percy believe it.

‘That way, he’ll finally stop pestering me.

So Natasha closed her eyes and let Jared kiss her.

She went along with him, finishing the act together.

Percy was left speechless.

He felt as if his heart was being crushed right in front of him.

A pain he’d never known before swept through his body.

He never imagined that seeing Natasha kiss another man would hurt this much.

If heaven gave him another chance to choose, he would never have divorced Natasha, never handed her over to Jared.

Natasha’s lashes fluttered.

He carried her straight to his luxury ride and slid inside with her.

“Sorry, but I’m taking my girlfriend home to bed,” Jared announced.

Jared was deliberately provoking Percy to get under his skin.

Percy’s handsome face turned cold and sinister, his expression downright intimidating.

His hands clenched into fists.

The veins on the back of his hands bulged.

He had no choice but to watch as Jared took Natasha away right in front of him.

He was burning with rage inside, and he couldn’t hold it back.

The dark mood and anger wouldn’t let go, sticking to him like a shadow that refused to leave.
