Chapter 88 She’s His Tonight
Chapter 88 She’s His Tonight
Natasha asked, “Can I check the surveillance cameras here?”
The manager said firmly, “Sorry, but no.”
Natasha frowned. “But my mother disappeared here…”
The manager said seriously, “You only suspect something, but you have no evidence. Besides, this is an exclusive members-only club. We’re obligated to keep all our guests’ information confidential. We can’t make an exception.”
Natasha pleaded with him, but the manager wouldn’t budge.
With no other options, she had no choice but to call Percy.
To her surprise, the first thing Percy said was, “So, are you finally free to go to City Hall with me?”
Natasha took a deep breath, trying to keep her cool. “I can go to City Hall with you whenever you want, but right now, I need to ask you something.”
Percy assumed Natasha was finally going to ask him to reconsider the divorce.
But the first thing out of Natasha’s mouth was that she was ready to go to City Hall and get the divorce over with anytime.
He couldn’t help but feel annoyed.
‘Since when did she think she could drop me whenever she felt like it?’ he thought.
“What is it?” he asked impatiently.
Natasha blurted out, “Were you with Joelle and my mom last night for her birthday? Do you know where my mom went afterwards?”
Percy replied in a cold tone, “I don’t know.”
Then he hung up right.
Before Natasha called, Percy had received a message from Joelle.
She told him that no matter what Natasha asked, he should say he didn’t know.
He’d already done exactly what Joelle told him to.
He just hadn’t expected Natasha to call and ask about Sandra’s whereabouts.
‘Should I tell her?’ he wondered.
Percy narrowed his eyes, his gaze darkening.
In the end, he chose to do exactly as Joelle told him.
The manager had been watching Natasha’s expression the whole time.
When he saw she didn’t get the answer she wanted from the call, he chimed in.
“I remember Joelle has been hanging out at our club lately. Why don’t you ask her in person?” he suggested.
Natasha looked up right away. “Which room is Joelle in?”
The manager replied, “She usually brings her friends to Room 1006 and parties all night.”

The spacious Room 1006 was filled with a dozen or so guys and girls, lounging and chatting. Smoke hung heavy in the air, and the music was thundering.
As Natasha pushed open the door, the lively atmosphere in the room instantly froze.
No more noise, no more laughter, and not a single laugh to be heard.
Natasha could feel every eye in the room turning to her, all attention locked on her.
Taking a steadying breath, she swept her gaze around the room, finally landing on Joelle, who sat on the couch with her arms around two male models.
“Well, well, isn’t that my shameless, illegitimate little sister?” Joelle slurred, her eyes glazed from too much booze.
She made no effort to hide her contempt, mocking Natasha right in front of everyone.
Natasha fired back, “And isn’t this my disgraceful big sister?”

“Who are you calling disgraceful?” Joelle jumped up, furious. She raised her glass, about to throw it right at Natasha.
But someone grabbed her arm in time.
Joelle, chill out. Why get so angry?” someone said.
It was Gordon.
Turns out he was in the room, too.
When Natasha spotted Gordon, her eyes instantly sharpened with alertness.
She never expected Joelle to actually mix with someone as shady as Gordon.
Seeing Gordon step in for Natasha, a sinister, scheming glint flickered in Joelle’s eyes.
Gordon was infamous in high society as a notorious scoundrel and troublemaker.
Over the years, he’d tormented men and women alike, never missing a chance to prey on others.
Joelle thought, ‘If Natasha falls into his hands, I can use Gordon to settle the score and finally teach her a lesson.’
“Alright, for Gordon’s sake, I’ll let it go today,” Joelle said, forcing herself to calm down.
She begrudgingly sat back down on the couch.
With a sidelong glance at Natasha, Joelle sneered, “Alright, what are you here for?”
Natasha marched right up to her. “Where’s my mom?”
Joelle propped one leg over the other and scoffed, “Are you kidding me? How would I know where your mom is?”
Natasha frowned. “It was my mom’s birthday yesterday. Weren’t you the one who spent the night with her?”
Joelle gave Natasha a sharp, challenging look.
“So what if I was?” she sneered.
Joelle had spent the night with Sandra on purpose, to rub it in and make Natasha feel miserable.
Clearly, she’d gotten exactly what she wanted.
“Since you were the last one to see my mom, you have to know where she is,” Natasha said, almost certain.
Joelle snorted, giving Natasha a sideways look. “Why do you think I was the last one to see her? Percy and I were with Sandra for her birthday last night, but we were pretty drunk, so I don’t remember what happened after.”
Natasha bit back her frustration, trying to keep her cool.
She could tell Joelle was deliberately keeping her in the dark.
It was obvious Joelle was out to mess with her.
“What will it take for you to tell me where my mom is?” Natasha demanded, her fists clenched tight.
Joelle smirked at her.
Her smile sent shivers down Natasha’s spine.
“See that booze on the table? If you drink every last drop, maybe I’ll remember where your mom is,” Joelle taunted.
Natasha couldn’t believe her eyes as she looked at all the booze piled up on the table.
‘Is she expecting me to down all this booze by myself?’ Natasha thought.
“If you don’t want to, forget it,” Joelle said, watching Natasha’s reaction with a careless shrug.
“No, I’ll do it,” Natasha said quickly.
For her mother’s sake, she couldn’t back down.
‘Screw it, Natasha thought, bracing herself. She started chugging.
She began with the glass, but soon swigged straight from the bottle.
The fiery burn hit her mouth and rolled down into her gut.
Everyone in the room tonight was a privileged heir or a trust fund kid.
Of course, the booze was top-shelf.
Natasha was already feeling drunk after just one bottle.
But she gritted her teeth and kept chugging, refusing to stop.
