Chapter 132 A Daring Strike
Finis
“From now on, we move. When fighting a snake, strike the weak point. See the spot where a chunk of it: flesh was torn off? That’s where we focus our attacks. At the same time, avoid its venom counterattack. Judging from the mutated rats that died earlier, if that venom touches our skin, it can be fatal.”
After saying this seriously to the group, Cecelia continued, “So Hendrick and I will hold down its head. Timothy and Loser will attack the wound!”
“Alright.”
Hendrick nodded.
When Ryan heard Cecelia call him “Loser” again, he felt extremely annoyed. But when he thought abou the promise he made to Matthew earlier, he clenched his teeth and didn’t argue back.
Even Timothy was a little surprised. He glanced at him. “You finally figured it out?”
Ryan looked at the backs of Cecelia and Hendrick as they walked ahead and snorted heavily. “A real man doesn’t argue with a woman. I won’t bother with her! Anyway, we’re not even teammates anymore!”
Timothy gave him a helpless look. “Right, she’s not in our team. So there’s no reason for you to dislike he anymore. Whatever she does won’t affect our team.”
After saying that, he reminded Ryan, “When we fight this level 4 mutated giant snake later, you must stay fully alert. No matter what happens, remember that Cecelia is our ally for now. Controlling that snake’s head won’t be easy, and it can spit venom at any time. It’s deadly. The reason she asked Hendrick to go with her is that both of them are fast… Right now, none of us can afford to slow the others down. Understand?”
Ryan glanced at the giant snake rolling on the road. His brows tightened, but he nodded seriously. “Got it.
“Good.”
Seeing that Ryan no longer showed the same resentment toward Cecelia, Timothy finally felt a little relieved.
Then he led Ryan closer to the mutated snake.
The snake’s head was huge, and dealing with it wouldn’t be easy.
Cecelia thought of a plan. She walked into a nearby house and found several bedsheets. She folded them together to make them thicker, then measured something before pouring gasoline on them.
Hendrick watched her work and quickly understood her plan. “So when the blanket burns, it’ll slowly break apart and hold it down for a short time.”
“I know. That’s exactly what I want. I’ll have other moves later.”
After speaking, Cecelia finished soaking the bedsheets in gasoline and handed them to Hendrick. “We can
act soon.”

“Alright.”
Hendrick carried the bedsheets and watched as Cecelia entered another house and came back out wit sickles used for harvesting wheat.
He looked surprised. “What are those for?”
“You’ll find out soon.”
Cecelia said as she continued walking forward. “There’s no time. Hurry.”
“Got it.”
Hendrick quickly followed, his eyes drawn to the two sickles resting on her shoulder.
The giant snake was still rolling around in pain.
Luckily, the road was wide enough. Otherwise, it wouldn’t even have space to turn over.
All the cars on both sides had been knocked aside and pushed off the road.
Because of the pain, it didn’t notice the people approaching.
Until two human figures appeared in its sight, its dark green vertical pupils instantly shrank.
It stared at the approaching humans and hissed as it prepared to attack.
But the next second, its head suddenly felt cold!
Before it could react, its vision went dark. It couldn’t see anything.
“Hiss!”
The giant snake shook its head in anger.
“Ryan!”
Hendrick shouted, “Light it up here!”
Ryan didn’t answer. He simply threw a fireball at the bedsheet covering the snake’s head.
Poof!
The sheet burst into flames.
“Hiss!”
The giant snake flicked its tongue even more violently,
The long tongue started whipping around wildly, trying to grab the nearest human.
At the same time, the fire on its head caused intense pain.

Hendrick, with his wind ability, moved quickly to dodge.
Even so, he still felt tremendous pressure.
Because it was too fast.

Hendrick’s expression changed as he dodged again and stepped back, staring at the four wildly whippin
tongues.
As expected of a level 4 mutated beast. If not for his wind ability, he wouldn’t have been able to dodge a all.
