Chapter 172 Ten Minutes?
Timothy and the others didn’t take it lightly. They immediately got into their vehicles and backed farther
away
Leanna and the others ran a long distance as well.
The battlefield was left entirely to Cecelia, Oliver, and the level 4 zombie.
“So we’re just watching the show here now?” Ryan nudged Matthew with his elbow.
Matthew slowly pulled a mini night–vision binocular out of his pocket. “You could always go up front and watch.”
Click!
The scope flipped open and aimed toward Cecelia and the zombie.
Ryan’s mind went blank when he saw that.
“What the hell?! When did you get something like that? Let me see!”
He immediately tried to grab it.
Matthew had expected that and casually pulled another night–vision scope from his other pocket, tossing it to him. “Use your own.”
“Holy crap!” Ryan nearly jumped when he looked through it.
“That’s a level 4 zombie? It doesn’t even have pupils! Its eyes are completely white with black veins in them. That’s disgusting! Looks like it mutated from a middle–aged man. What’s wrong with its hands? Why are they so long? And its legs–its proportions look like a gorilla at the zoo… And its teeth are all serrated… Do all level 4 mutated zombies look like this?
“Damn! I can even see bits of meat stuck between its teeth… Ugh…”
He couldn’t hold it in and started vomiting.
Hendrick’s mouth twitched as he snatched the scope from Ryan and looked.
The fight had already begun.
It was just like Cecelia said.
Oliver immediately clashed with the level 4 zombie. The zombie took a punch to the forehead from him, Its once full forehead caved in instantly.
Both white eyeballs bulged outward like a dead fish’s eyes.
Enraged, the level 4 zombie launched a fierce attack on Oliver.
“Hendrick, time to get the crystal,” Timothy reminded him.

Hendrick frowned slightly and handed the scope back to Ryan. “Alright. Let’s go first.”
Then he called Matthew to leave with him.
Timothy took the binoculars Matthew handed him and continued observing the fight.
He had to study that level 4 mutated zombie carefully. He wanted to see how Cecelia and Oliver killed it so then team could hunt level 4 zombies on their own in the future and use the crystals to level up.
But… wait!
Timothy suddenly froze.
In the brief moment he had looked away, Oliver had already torn off the level 4 zombie’s arm!
Timothy couldn’t believe it and quickly raised the scope again.
This time, it was even worse.
Oliver had pinned the zombie down.
Cecelia moved in and drove her dagger straight into the back of the zombie’s skull.
Timothy’s breath hitched. It felt like he was dreaming.
He immediately got into the car.
Ryan and Regina looked at him in confusion.
Before they could react, Timothy’s car had already sped off.
“Damn!” Ryan lowered the scope, still in disbelief. “The level 4 mutated zombie… died just like that?”
“What?” Regina looked completely confused.
Ryan shoved the binoculars into her hands. “See for yourself.”
“Ten minutes?” Cecelia checked the time, then looked down at the level 4 zombie’s corpse on the ground. Even she felt a bit stunned.
This level 4 zombie had been weaker than she expected.
Even so, Oliver had still used a lot of strength to suppress it and had been seriously injured. He was squatting nearby now, coughing up blood.
“Ivy!” Cecelia shouted.
Ivy had already seen what had happened from the truck and ran over quickly. Her face was tight with worry. “Cece, are you hurt?”

“I’m fine. Treat Oliver first. He’s badly injured.”
Cecelia helped Oliver sit down, then looked at the level 4 zombie crystal in her hand and quickly noticed something.
The crystal was less than half the size of a normal mutated zombie crystal.
A crystal was like an ability user’s energy channels; it stored energy.
Just like how Ivy’s healing ability had mutated, zombie crystals could also mutate, becoming either larger
