Chapter 264 The Threat
Draven really lived by one rule. He treated everyone in the team as his family.
No matter who asked him to do something, he never said no, and he did it fast.

The branches were even worse. They stretched toward the windows like claws.
“It found us. It’s a wood-type Level 5 mutated zombie.”
Blake stood by the window, his expression tense.
Cecelia looked out too, but she didn’t see any zombie.
Only branches climbing upward, nonstop.
She slashed a few down with her machete.
But more branches grew back even faster.
Just moments ago, the room had been bright.
Now, as the branches wrapped around the house, darkness slowly closed in.
“I’ll draw it away.”
Blake didn’t wait. He jumped out the window, using the second-floor balcony to dodge the attacking branches, then leaped onto the roof of another building.
His movements were smooth, almost like he was flying.
Ivy and Draven just stood there, stunned.

“The higher the level of a mutated zombie, the more it targets high-level ability users. Blake is drawing the Level 5 away. We need to leave now!”
Cecelia spoke calmly as she moved. She lifted Amber onto her back.
Amber’s body was burning hot.
Her eyes were shut tight. She wasn’t waking up anytime soon.
That Level 5 zombie already knew they were here. It would split its focus to attack them too.
If Blake could lure it away and come back unharmed, that alone would be impressive.
To be safe, Cecelia opened the door and released Ginger. “There’s a Level 5 mutated zombie. I need your help. Can you do it?”
“Meow=”
Ginger agreed right away.
The next second, he transformed in the hallway-growing into Tiger’s full size.
“Whoa!”
Draven followed Ivy and Oliver out and froze when he saw the huge cat. No-wait… Those stripes. It was

“Is is that Cecelia’s pet?
He asked while rushing downstairs.

Ivy nodded. “Yeah. She picked him up before. He’s a Level 4 mutated beast. His name’s Tiger. Very gentle

Draven was speechless.
Draven watched as the big cat leaped out the window and tore into the climbing branches. Crunch-one bite, one snap. There was nothing gentle or cute about him now. He was downright brutal.
Those branches couldn’t stand up to his sharp teeth. He ripped through several in seconds.
Some plants looked like giant carnivorous flowers, their centers packed with sharp spikes.
Their weak point was the stem.
They twisted up the walls like snakes, writhing as they climbed.
Tiger slammed a paw down and crushed the stems into pieces.
“Meow!”
