Apocalypse God Mode: Unlocked (Cecilia) novel Chapter 321

Chapter 321 Going Through the Sewer

Cecelia understood

mediately. “So we find a sewer entrance about three miles out from Kaezer Group and use that to enter the immer zone?”

“This method is faster and doesn’t require using a psychic ability user. For this operation, every ability user matters. We need full coordination to complete it. Over the past few days, I’ve used my spatial ability three times to enter the inner zone of Kaezer Group. It was easier than I expected. That area is mostly level 4 zombies, with a small number of level 5 mutated zombies.”

“No kidding. Just the day before yesterday, you went into Kaezer Group alone and came back covered in blood. If Sean hadn’t been there, I would’ve thought you were done for! And then you casually pulled out two level 5 mutated zombie crystals for us…”

As Cade said this, he still looked shaken. “That seriously scared the hell out of me!”

Morton shot him a look. “I give you crystals, and you’re still complaining.”

“Captain Carter, your life matters way more than any crystal. If you’d died for those two level 5 crystals, I’d be regretting it for the rest of my life!”

Morton didn’t bother responding to his overly dramatic tone.

He looked at Cecelia and the others and continued, “When the time comes, we’ll split into two teams. Cade and I will go from above and enter through the outer zone. Cecelia, Timothy, and Mark will lead the rest through the sewer system.”

“Going from above to draw attention?”

Cecelia looked at him. “That would alert them, and your risk won’t be low.”

Morton narrowed his eyes and stubbed out his cigarette. “My spatial ability can carry people, up to ten at a time. For me, this isn’t a problem. And I’ve been there several times over the past few days. I even came face-to-face with that level 6 mutated zombie once. It should’ve memorized my presence by now. Approaching from the front might actually draw less attention.”

Cecelia understood what he meant.

Those trips Morton made into Kaezer Group weren’t just for reconnaissance. He had also been baiting the level 6 mutated zombie.

“After entering Kaezer Group multiple times, I’ve confirmed that level 4 and level 5 mutated zombies frequently appear at this location.”

Morton took out another smaller map and circled a spot. “The underground laboratory of Kaczer Group.

This smaller map was the floor plan displayed on the first floor of Kaezer Group

The area Morton circled didn’t explicitly

say “underground laboratory: It only marked an entrance.

As for the floors above ground, counting them showed there were 27 stories

Chapter 324 Going Through the Sewer

Draven said, “I’ve delivered food to Kaezer Group a few times before. There were a lot of people in that building. They’ve probably all turned by now. Does that mean there are still a lot of zombies inside?”

“Not many.”

Morton told them, “Aside from the underground lab, the floors above the first level don’t pose much of a threat. The number of mutated zombies there is low. A psychic ability user can scout those areas.

“The only thing you need to watch for is this. The moment you encounter the level 6 mutated zombie, send a signal to notify us of your location.”

Amber asked in confusion, “But didn’t you just say that all electronic devices fail inside Kaezer Group? If that’s the case, we won’t have a way to notify you…”

Morton lit another cigarette and looked at Blake. “Psychic ability dan handle that.”

Blake gave a short nod. “I can locate you and transmit information. But if there’s interference, like a psychic mutated zombie stronger than me, it can cut off my communication.”

Morton fell silent for a moment, then looked back at Cecelia and the others. “So this plan isn’t low risk. If I can’t get to you in time and you run into the level 6 mutated zombie, you’ll have to deal with it yourselves.”

“You have a healing-type ability user in your team, right?”

He was asking Cecelia.

Cecelia didn’t hide it anymore and nodded. “My sister.”

“That works.”

Morton thought that if they didn’t, he would have to assign Sean to their group.

“You’ll be going through the underground route, which makes it more likely you’ll encounter the mutated zombies in the underground lab. To be safe…”

He glanced at Cade. “Cade, you’re a level 5 lightning ability user. Switch with Mark and go with them.”

“How is that okay?”

ľ

Cade immediately objected. “Mark has an earth ability. Even at level 5, his defense is higher than his offense. He’s better suited to stay with Cecelia’s group… Wait, what the hell, Mark, what are you doing?!”

As he spoke, sharp spikes of earth suddenly burst up from the ground at his feet.
