Chapter 64 The Golden Healing Power
Cecelia paused. “It’s not a bad thing” she said slowly. “If anything, it’s way too good”
“Huh?” Ivy blinked. “Why would you say that?”
“What you’re experiencing is called an ability mutation”
Cecelia briefly explained the two types of mutations.

“In short, this is great news. But if outsiders learn about it, you’ll become someone everyone wants to control.”
That was Cecelia’s real concern.
A healing ability wasn’t like Ryan’s lightning power. If someone caused trouble, he could simply blast them
away.
But a golden healing ability? No one knew how strong it might become one day.
And that made it both exciting and dangerous.
Noticing Cecelia looking worried, Ivy quickly said, “Don’t worry. Cece. If we keep it secret no one will find
out.
Cecelia shook her head. “It’s not that simple. Even if we stay quiet, people may notice. Try using your ability.”
As she spoke, she took out a knife and cut a line across her palm.
Blood immediately flowed.
‘Cece!” Ivy panicked and quickly used her healing ability.
The moment her power appeared, a soft golden light spread from her hands. It wrapped around Cecelia’s injured palm.
One second later, the wound was gone. Not even a scar remained.
“Cece! Even if you wanted to test it, you didn’t have to cut yourself like that. Didn’t it hurt?” Ivy frowned while checking her hand.
Cecelia laughed. “You healed it in one second. What pain could I feel?”
Ivy paused. Then, her eyes widened. “Wait, that was much faster than when I healed Timothy before. And the light! It was golden!”
“Exactly.” Cecelia nodded. “That’s the difference. You’re only level 3 right now. As your ability grows stronger, the color will become deeper and clearer. Anyone will be able to see that it’s special.”
Hearing that, Ivy suddenly thought of something. “You’re right. Hendrick and the others don’t have colored light when they use their powers. Before, my healing only had a faint white glow.”

Cecelia lowered her voice and continued. “Timothy’s ice ability forms ice blades, so there’s no visible light Hendrick’s wind ability is invisible. Ryan’s fire power only shows flames. Matthew controls earth, but he struggles inside a building”
She shrugged. “Concrete isn’t real soil. His level isn’t high enough to create soil yet. Regina’s ability is different too. It enhances her five senses, so it doesn’t show outward. Then she looked directly at Ivy. “You’re the only one whose power now shows a clear color change
Ivy frowned slightly. “But I only heal our teammates. It shouldn’t be a problem. Timothy and the others are trustworthy?
“I understand,” Cecelia said gently. “But we still need to be careful”
She placed her hands on Ivy’s shoulders. “You’re not good at lying. If they ask, just say your ability changed after leveling up and you don’t know why. If they ask me, I’ll give them another explanation.”
Ivy podded right away. “Okay. I’ll follow your lead.”
“Good,”
After a moment, Cecelia told Ivy something else. She explained how she had tried bringing a crystal into her blank space, and it had worked.
Ivy’s eyes
lit up.
“That means your special ability works like ours! You can level up with crystals too!”
