Damian’s words were deliberately provocative.

Vincent listened with a silent, measured smile.

Seeing no response, Damian pressed further. “Does your silence mean you’re agreeing?”

Vincent clearly had no intention of agreeing and was about to refuse when several luxury cars pulled up at the curb.

Simultaneously, Sabrina’s voice cut through the air. “Vincent!”

Vincent turned to see Sabrina arriving with Daniel, Caleb, and Harris.

Ethan, noticing the new arrivals, hurried over to greet them and offer cigars.

He recognized Daniel and Harris, but Caleb and Sabrina were unfamiliar. Still, since they came with Daniel, he treated them with equal respect.

After Ethan’s greetings, Vincent moved to stand beside Sabrina. He looked at Caleb and addressed him respectfully, “Mr. Monroe.”

Caleb smiled faintly. “Vincent, just call me Caleb like Sabrina does. Adding ‘Mr.‘ makes it sound so distant. We’ll be family soon anyway.”

Ethan, having welcomed everyone, excused himself to attend to other guests, suggesting they mingle freely.

Hearing Caleb’s remark, Vincent corrected himself simply, “Caleb.”

Behind them, Scarlett overheard Vincent addressing Caleb with such familiarity and felt a bitter amusement twist inside her.
