Beast Love Show: All For Her (by Sylvester Raven) novel Chapter 125

Chapter 125 I Low-Key Ship You Two

Liam and Layla didn’t have any obvious major wounds, but after all the tumbling and fighting, they ached all over badly.

“How much further?” Liam’s voice shook noticeably. His arms holding George trembled, and his legs felt totally weak.

George no longer cared about staying cool. He clung tight to Liam’s neck, trying to lift himself up a little to take some weight off him. “Only about ten more minutes.”

He’d found an underwater cave for himself before. It stayed dry inside, a place they could hide out for a while, rest up without worrying about attacks.

Layla, supporting Shane, struggled with every single step too.

Shane’s healing ability was insane, but his legs were wrecked. His ankles were barely held together by bone. He hadn’t rested at all, and this long walk left him pale, moving purely on instinct, just following Layla.

George was also running out of strength. The air bubble he held was tight against their bodies. If Layla slowed down even a little, she’d touch the salty seawater. Her clothes kept getting soaked, dried off, soaked again-she couldn’t tell if it was ocean water or sweat.

By the time they finally stopped in front of the underwater cave, the bubble had shrunk so much it barely fit all four of them.

The cave stayed dry, like something was keeping the water out entirely.

Once they stepped inside, Liam’s strength gave out completely.

He’d been carrying a full-grown merman for two whole hours. Without the escape adrenaline keeping him going, he would’ve collapsed ages ago.

The second he stepped into the cave, his legs buckled and he dropped to his knees. Even so, he still held George steady.

Layla helped Shane lean against the cave wall. Seeing Liam’s arms shaking yet still holding George tight, she found a little silly amusement in their mess. “I low-key ship you two.”

George had pushed his water control to its limit and was so worn out that he was half-asleep. Layla’s tease jolted him awake. He let go of Liam’s neck and shoved his shoulder.

They both fell over together.

Liam fell backward from the push, and George slipped out of his arms, rolling a few times across the cave floor.

“Ow!” Every single muscle in Liam’s body screamed. “George! Are you trying to kill me?!”

“Not anytime soon,” George said, his voice quiet but clear.

“You got any food?” Liam asked.

Chapter 125 I Low-Key Ship You Two

George wriggled on the ground for a second, then finally shifted his tail back into human legs.

The cave wasn’t big at all. It was just a little spot George used when he was alone.

With all four of them inside, it was completely packed.

George crawled a little toward the back and pulled a grass-woven bag from behind a rock.

Yates had made that bag. George used it to carry dried meat he traded from Layla in exchange for seawater

It was about two palms big, square, and only half-full now-not even enough for one full meal for all of them.

“This is all we have left,” George said.

Layla’s eyes widened. “You trade for a new bag every single day, and this is all that’s left?!”

That set another record for how little she understood beastkin appetites.

A bag of dried meat like this would last her half a month, and her jaw would ache from chewing long before she finished it.

She sat on the ground and looked up at George, noticing his jaw muscles weren’t very big at all.

How does he eat so much?

Shane noticed Layla staring at George. He went quiet for a moment, but this time he didn’t pull her attention away like he usually did..

Instead, he grabbed a piece of jerky and chewed it slowly. He asked George, “Why were you there?”

George could tell right away that Shane’s attitude toward him had changed.

But would speaking up now make it look like he was taking advantage? He wasn’t that kind of person.

If he liked someone, he wanted them to like him back, to want to be with him truly. Using some stupid debt to tie someone down? That was cheap and pathetic!

With that thought, George grabbed a piece of jerky, chewed it down fast, swallowed, and grabbed another. “It was just luck. You think I swam all the way over there on purpose just to save you?”

Shane hadn’t expected that answer at all.

It had taken them over two hours to get here on foot. Even without them weighing him down, it would’ve taken George at least half an hour to swim to that spot in the ocean.

Shane would believe George would give up jerky forever before he believed he swam half an hour for no

reason.

“You’re lying,” Shane said, stubborn. Only two words, but the professorial authority in his tone was obvious.
