Beast Love Show: All For Her (by Sylvester Raven) novel Chapter 137

Chapter 137 They’ve Both Changed

Liam couldn’t have hauled the Quetzalcoatlus back on his own, of course. In the end, it took several of them working together, grunting hard, to finally get the massive creature back to Layla’s yard.

Unfortunately, the yard walls had collapsed in the beast horde. The stone shelter half was untouched, which was a small mercy.

The firewood shed was smashed, and the chicken coop had partially caved in, the chickens long gone.

The rabbit hutch was fine, but rabbits are timid creatures. In short, when Layla pushed the door open and looked inside, she found the whole litter dead, scattered on the ground.

Liam leaned in from behind her for a look and burst out laughing.

Layla shot him a glare, but he didn’t even try to hold back. He even suggested a menu. “Perfect! You made that rabbit dish last time, and everyone loved it. There are more people now. Make it again?”

On the way back, Blaze had already filled them in. He, Seren, and Avery had realized something was wrong and, through the Vanguard, saw Layla and the others being chased to the sea.

They weren’t too worried about Layla with George there. It was Avery who pointed out that the Quetzalcoatlus looked odd and suggested they find its nest for clues.

So Blaze, Seren, and Avery headed up the mountain. On the way, they passed Talia’s cabin, where she was discussing going to ask the production team about the situation with Sebastian.

After a quick chat, they came up with a plan. Blaze and the other two continued up the mountain to investigate. Talia took Felix to look for poisonous plants.

As herbivore beastkin, even if they didn’t know much about medicine, they could usually tell which wild greens to avoid. This time, all those annoying toxic plants finally came in handy.

As for Sebastian, he went to find some game. He was a canine beastkin, decent in a fight, but too hesitant against large predators.

Just then, he ran into Jacob, who was also on his way to the production team. So the males from Emily’s cabin all went hunting together.

No one expected that the usually simplest step-hunting-would be the hardest part today. The Quetzalcoatlus’ rampage had swept up all the other large beasts in the stampede.

The group searched the mountains for ages before finally finding an old, skinny, half-dead wolf. It was so old it couldn’t run anymore, which was why it hadn’t been swept away in the stampede, leaving it for them to find.

Hearing the whole story, the live chat was amazed, praising the group’s teamwork. Many also took the

chance to mock Stella.

So many people had pitched in to help, and Stella was the last to show.

Carson and Oliver had gotten the news, but one was in the south and the other in the west, both trying their best to get back. They still hadn’t made it, but at least they’d tried.

Chapter 13 They’ve Both Changed

Stella kept saying she wanted to give everything back to Layla, but when Layla was in danger, she stayed silent. She only showed up, pretending to be worried, after everyone had worked together and the danger was mostly over.

The viewers weren’t stupid. They could see right through her. No matter how innocent Stella tried to act. the outcome was the same.

Even though Layla was sad about all her rabbits dying of fright, everyone still happily enjoyed a rabbit dinner.

As for the Quetzalcoatlus they’d struggled to drag back… it was edible, but the meat was tough and dry, kind of like turkey.

It made a decent soup, though. Layla promised to make a big batch of Quetzalcoatlus soup for everyone to take back and use for cooking their wild greens.

She’d add plenty of seasoning, and it could serve as a good soup base for stews too.

Seren has a big mouth and absolutely no shame. When Layla offered to make the soup base, he promptly nudged Shane’s arm. “Prof. Slater, can I have one of your clay pots? I want to cook meat in it back at my .spot.”

Avery glanced at him but didn’t call him out for being rude this time.

Shane had no reason to refuse people who had risked themselves to help him and Layla. “Sure. I’ll make a set of cooking utensils for each of you.”

Liam tried to pull him aside, reminding him he had important work to do.

But Shane said, “I’m injured. I need to rest. Making clay pots is perfect.”

Liam thought Shane seemed more human now, but somehow, this version of Shane wasn’t as… cute as before.

The old Shane didn’t throw tantrums or brush off missions from the higher-ups.
