Beast Love Show: All For Her (by Sylvester Raven) novel Chapter 151

Chapter 151 Stella’s Influence

She looked so innocent, so lovely.

So this is the kind of girl George actually likes.

She had no idea what had driven them apart before, but when Stella rushed up and grabbed George’s hand, he didn’t pull away. He didn’t tell her to let go, either.

“George, how could you fight with Caleb? We’re on camera,” Stella said, her face showing concern mixed with reproach born from affection.

George couldn’t focus on Stella. He turned to Layla and noticed her grim expression.

He froze. A moment ago, Layla had told him to stop, and he had hit Caleb one more time.

Is that what she’s upset about? Well… maybe I should pull him out of the water?

With that thought, George summoned another surge of water and slapped Caleb up onto the shore. The current was much gentler than before.

Then he stole a careful glance at Layla’s face.

Her expression had grown even darker.

All those pleas had been useless. Every time she tried to stop him, he hit Caleb one extra time.

He was deliberately antagonizing her!

She couldn’t figure out why someone she’d been able to talk to just fine before was now finding fault with her at every turn.

But the moment Stella showed up and barely said a word, just held his hand, he stopped.

Does Stella have that much influence over him?

Irritation prickled in Layla’s chest. She looked up just as George pulled his hand free and walked over to her.

“Hey. I got him out.”

That only made Layla angrier.

Fine, you got him out! I get it, you listen to Stella. No need to rub it in.

“I’m not blind! I saw!” Layla snapped back.

But a second later, she forced herself to be calm.

It wasn’t really George’s fault.

He was the male lead in the original story, one of Stella’s mates.

Chapter 151 Stella’s Influence

Shane had broken free of the story’s control because he genuinely loved her.

But George was still under the plot’s influence. She couldn’t demand he ignore Stella completely.

Clearly, the two of them had been fighting earlier, and now they were about to make up.

That was the nature of a romance between the protagonists.

Once they made up, their storyline would slide right back onto its original tracks.

And when that happened, George’s feelings toward her would sour even further. He’d resent her.

And that little spark of affection she should never have harbored for him needed to be snuffed out, and fast

She absolutely could not walk the same path as the original Layla.

George belonged to Stella!

She needed to distance herself from them and live a happy life.

With that in mind, Layla moved towards Caleb.

She didn’t really want to see him.

But she wanted even less to watch George and Stella get all cozy.

She didn’t want to admit it, but she was still somewhat affected.

As Layla walked toward Caleb, George turned his head to Stella. “What are you doing here?”

Layla heard him. Just as she suspected, the lovebirds had a quarrel.

She quickened her pace. Whatever Stella said behind her grew faint, then faded completely.

The wind and waves are too loud.

She hadn’t even reached Caleb when a rush of footsteps sounded.

She turned to see Shane and Liam leading the others in their direction.

Hanna had been in the crowd, but the moment she spotted Caleb, she broke into a sprint.

“Cal, are you okay?”

She threw herself down beside him, propping him up and cradling him against her. “Cal, wake up. Are you alright?”

Layla stood frozen, not sure whether to step forward or back away.

Shane walked toward her. His footsteps drew closer, closer, until she could just make out the sound of his breathing beside her.

She kept her head down.

Chapter 151 Stella’s Influence

Just yesterday, she had promised him she wouldn’t fall for George.

And yet, she’d completely lost her composure over him, flown out here without a second thought.

She had even let herself get rattled watching George and Stella together.

God, I really am the worst.

She couldn’t bring herself to face Shane.
