Beast Love Show: All For Her (by Sylvester Raven) novel Chapter 153

Chapter 153 Teach Him a Lesson

A worthless female, and you dare lay hands on me? I was going easy on you, letting it slide! Try me one more time, and I’ll skin you alive!”

A dangerous glint flashed in Layla’s eyes. Before she could even move, a gust of wind blasted past her. She felt something rush by, and in the next instant, Caleb was hurtling into the ocean.

She blinked. Shane’s serpent tail flicked back out of sight.

George stood where Caleb had been a second before, his fist swinging through empty air. He stumbled forward, nearly wrenching his back.

Shane tilted his head, watching Caleb flounder among the waves. He spoke to George. “Drag him back up?

“Why should I listen to you?” George grumbled. But he still fired a jet of water, flinging Caleb onto the

shore.

Caleb really could take a beating. He didn’t even pass out.

Hanna cried out, “Cal!” and tried to run to him, but Blaze seized her arm. “Don’t go.”

“Let go of me, Blaze! Let go!”

In the end, Blaze couldn’t hold her back.

She fought so fiercely that he was afraid he would hurt her.

But the moment she reached Caleb and bent down to help him up, he grabbed her arm and hurled her into

the ocean.

“Hanna!” Blaze plunged in after her like a shot.

But he couldn’t swim either.

The two of them thrashed helplessly in the water.

“George.” Layla’s voice was strained as she looked to him.

He observed the two struggling with a cold expression and didn’t move.

He had to teach them both a lesson, especially Hanna.

He couldn’t understand why she fiercely protected that scumbag who was always hitting her.

He’d let them almost drown, then haul them out, show Hanna who was truly worthy of her affection.

Seeing that he hadn’t moved, Layla fell silent for a moment, then turned and walked toward the shore. With just a little water on her paws, she shouldn’t drown.

She could shift into her beast form and drag them both out.

Just then, Stella approached George and tugged at his sleeve. “George, they’re about to die. Don’t just stand

by!”

George yanked his sleeve free. He washed them both ashore with a wave. It wasn’t exactly a gentle landing

Layla stopped at the water’s edge. Her shoes were soaked.

She looked down at them.

I asked him for help, and he did nothing. Stella speaks, and he listens.

George then noticed Layla’s shoes were wet from the seawater he splashed.

Panic spiked through him. Then he saw the dark, unreadable look on her face as she stared down at her feet

Oh no! Layla’s angry!

“Oh my! George, you got Layla’s shoes all wet.”

George was already drowning in guilt, and Stella’s words made his heart stutter like a misfiring engine.

Nobody was helping him out. He opened his mouth, then shut it again.

He knew he had a knack for saying the wrong thing and offending people. He didn’t want to upset Layla again.

He deliberated, weighing every word, until he finally felt he had it just right. “What are you standing there for?”

George thought it sounded better than the original, which had been, “Why are you standing here getting in the way?”

Layla took a deep breath. Now, even standing here was getting in George’s way.

“Did you do that on purpose?” she asked, confronting him.

When she had pleaded, he’d ignored her. The second Stella opened her mouth, he acted fast, and intentionally soaked her shoes besides.

George clenched his fists in frustration and proudly lifted his chin. “That’s right! I did it on purpose!”

Layla actually understood me! And she says she doesn’t like me!

He had acted out to teach Hanna and Blaze a lesson.

One was blind to better options, choosing a scumbag instead, while the other couldn’t swim but jumped in to save someone. If it weren’t for him, both would have drowned.

He needed to teach them a lesson.

Liam stood off to the side, watching the whole exchange with deep amusement.

What exactly is George so proud of right now? Does he not see that Layla is furious?

But Liam was a spectator by nature. He wouldn’t remind George until the next life after forgetting
