Beast Love Show: All For Her (by Sylvester Raven) novel Chapter 154

Chapter 154 Don’t Touch Me

[All that proves is they’re a perfect match. Made for each other.]

[Can Stella just stay away from George? Can’t she see he doesn’t like her anymore?]

[Doesn’t like her? Layla said a dozen things, and George ignored them all. Stella says one word, and he does it immediately. And you Winges fans still want to argue?]

[He said he doesn’t like her, so he doesn’t. George’s eyes are glued to Layla. I’d rather he liked Layla than that snake Stella.]

[Who are you calling a snake?]

[Stella is a snake! Stella is a snake! Stella is a snake! Happy now?]

[Stella is a snake!]

[Stella is a snake!]

George’s fans flooded the comments.

Stella’s fanbase was nowhere near large enough to compete with George’s.

Within minutes, her supporters were forced into silence.

Back on the shore, Blaze didn’t bother shaking the water from his own fur. He scrambled up and darted to Hanna’s side. “Hanna, are you alright?”

Hanna, having swallowed water, lay on the ground coughing.

The moment Caleb saw Blaze fussing over Hanna, he jabbed a finger at her face. “You shameless pair of cheats! You told me you only loved me, and here you are throwing yourself at the first male that looks your way! Worthless trash. No wonder your own parents didn’t want you!”

Hanna’s eyes were already red from choking. At those words, her head snapped up. She stared at Caleb in stunned disbelief.

Caleb saw nothing wrong with his outburst. He lifted his chin, his face twisting into a sneer. “What are you looking at? Did I say something wrong?

“Your own parents threw you away. I picked you up off the street. I put you through school. Everything you have is because of me! And you dare run around with other males? You dare give me attitude? Just because you’ve got a little success now, you’ve forgotten what you really are?”

Hanna had never imagined her deepest wound would be torn open like this, in front of everyone, by the person she was closest to.

Blaze reached out to help her up.

She shoved his hand away, her voice trembling, her face drained of color. “Don’t… don’t touch me…”

“Oh, now you don’t want to be touched? What were you doing before?” Caleb wasn’t about to let it go. His

voice was sharp and dripping with contempt. “You’ve probably been used up behind my back, haven’t you!”

“I haven’t!” Hanna’s voice suddenly rose.

Caleb flinched, then glared at her viciously. His words grew sharper.

“Why are you yelling, you uncultured brat! You weren’t so proud when you were curled up in some corner. Only bread, and you followed me like a lost puppy. A low thing who sells herself for bread, and now you dare act high and mighty with me!”

Hanna’s eyes were bloodshot. Her whole body shook. She sat collapsed on the ground, hands braced against the dirt just to keep herself upright.

Caleb strode up, fisting a hand in her collar. “What? You wanna cry? Where’s the girl who begged me to take her? Don’t you play innocent now! You begged to stay with me! I never forced you!”

Layla didn’t care that her feet were freezing. She marched barefoot across the sand, planted a kick squarely into Caleb’s shoulder, and sent him sprawling.

She bent down, gathered Hanna into her arms, and pulled her close.

She was a little taller. She pressed Hanna’s face into her shoulder. “It’s not your fault. Being abandoned is never your fault. The fault belongs to the people who abandoned you. You did nothing wrong. You’re good, Hanna. Don’t dwell on it. You are so good.”

Hanna shook uncontrollably, her hands clutching fistfuls of Layla’s shirt. Silent, heavy tears soaked through the fabric, but no sound escaped her.

Caleb scrambled up, still intent on coming after Layla.

Shane stepped forward to kick him, but Liam blocked his path.

Caleb started to gloat, thinking he was safe. Liam kicked him back into the sea.

“I’m a general. It won’t matter if I kill him.”

[General Hartwell is so freaking cool!]

[It only takes one kick to get how hot General Hartwell is.]

[Yeah, but even if Prof. Slater had kicked Caleb to death right there, nobody would dare hold him responsible.]

[True. The Empire has ten generals. It only has one Prof. Slater. So if you do the math, Prof. Slater is technically more valuable than General Hartwell.]

[That’s not how the math works! Even if Prof. Slater is worth more, he belongs to Layla. General Hartwell belongs to everybody.]

[Wait, isn’t General Hartwell Stella’s?]

The splash of Caleb hitting the water made Hanna’s whole body go rigid. Years of ingrained habit screamed at her to go protect him. But she forced herself to stop.
