Beast Love Show: All For Her (by Sylvester Raven) novel Chapter 191

Chapter 191 The Cliff’s Edge

Her body stiffened, and her wings went out of control, sending them, a bird and a snake, plummeting

The scream tore from both throats at once.

Liam, locked in combat-below, spun toward the sound.

Layla was a bird. Just before impact, the paralyzing jolt released its grip, and she managed to wrestle back fragile balance, enough to avoid shattering against the ground.

But Shane was a snake. He had no wings, no way to right himself in freefall.

He dropped like a stone.

The moment Layla recovered, she dove, desperate to snatch him back.

But the descent was too fast. The ground rushed up.

“Shit!”

Liam took one look at their situation and sprinted toward them.

“Damn it! Shane! Grab something!”

He thought they’d come to help him. It turned out they were just making things worse.

As Liam ran over, he grabbed a beast on the fly and hurled it with all his might before Shane hit the ground.

“Boom!”

“Boom!”

Two successive thuds echoed.

The first was Liam hurling the prey.

The second was Shane crashing into it.

With the beast acting as a buffer, Shane might have been bruised, but at least he didn’t meet an untimely end.

“What happened?” Layla had already shifted back to human form. She hauled Shane upright and turned to Liam.

Liam smirked. “Is this really the time to ask?”

It wasn’t.

The predators were already charging.

“Why are they attacking you?” Layla asked.

These predators weren’t a single species.

Hyenas, lions, a pack of wolves, bears, and leopards.

No matter how she turned it over, Layla couldn’t fathom why they’d all appeared together.

“I don’t know either.” Liam tightened his grip on his military knife and whirled back toward the oncoming horde. “Stop wasting time. Help me!”

They needed to support him first.

Shane’s recovery speed was staggering.

Moments ago, he’d been seeing stars from the fall. Now, he was back to full capacity.

The two of them charged in, blades drawn.

With their support, the pressure on Liam eased instantly.

But what Layla hadn’t anticipated was the endless tide. Every time they cut down one wave, more beasts surged forward.

“Liam, did you get something on you again?” Layla suddenly thought of the Dreamgrass that Liam had been wearing before.

If the Beast World had Dreamgrass, more sinister things weren’t impossible.

“Take off your clothes!” she shouted.

Liam and Shane turned in unison. “What?” they demanded, voices overlapping.

“Take off your clothes. I want to see if there’s something on you that makes them react to you like cats seeing mice.”

Liam stared. “Who taught you metaphors like that? When we get off Planet A13, I’m paying for you to go to school.”

“We have to get out alive first. Keep running your mouth and we’ll die right here.”

Liam turned it over. She had a point.

He fell silent for a beat, then looked at Shane.

Shane’s brow was furrowed. Another pack of hyenas was closing in fast.

No matter how reluctant he was, he couldn’t hesitate any longer. “Do it.”

“Are you sure you understand what it means for me to take my clothes off in front of Layla?”

“We’re past the point of modesty!” Layla slit a wolf’s throat and snarled over her shoulder. “Off! Now! Or I’ll do it myself!”

If Layla said it, she’d do it.

Liam shuddered. Without another word, he tore his clothes off and hurled them into the distance
