Layla remembered how sharp the first giant chicken’s wings had been, and a great idea struck her.

Ignoring Shane’s attempts to stop her, Layla walked up to the chicken.

“Hi!” Layla greeted with a big smile.

The chicken looked up in surprise, wondering why she wasn’t running away.

Layla looked at it and tried to seem friendly. “I’ll help you find bugs to eat, and you can help me with a little

task?”

The chicken tilted its head, as if thinking it over.

Finally, it let out a cluck.

It sounded like an agreement.

Layla smiled.

Soon, Layla and Shane were riding a chicken roughly the size of a mammoth, strutting proudly across this strange planet.

Layla generously named the chicken. “King Kong.”

It was like King Kong, huge and powerful.

She was pretty sharp.

After scouting, she’d confirmed that treehouses were the most suitable dwelling here.

Living in caves or on the ground would attract large animals.

They’d end up as prey.

“Sooner or later, everyone will need wood to build shelters. Even if they don’t build houses, wood is the most convenient material on this planet.”

A female contestant named Daisy Wood was being chased by a giant bug.

The bug looked like a pill bug but had a sucker for a mouth.

The moment King Kong saw the giant pill bug, it got excited.
