Beast Love Show: All For Her (by Sylvester Raven) novel Chapter 255

Chapter 255 Dinosaur Egg?

Shane, Liam, and George are every bit Carson’s equal in strength and capability.

Crossing her arms over her chest, Layla spoke coldly from the side, a mocking smirk playing on her lips. “You’re more than happy to eat the game Mr. Fields hunts down all by himself. What exactly have you contributed?”

Stella’s face turned livid with rage, yet Layla feigned a sudden realization, tapping her forehead lightly.

“You spend all day lounging by the campfire sipping warm drinks while he’s out risking his life hunting for

food.”

The live chat flooded with relentless jabs at Stella, pushing her close to tears.

[Look at Stella-she looks like a walking thunderstorm.]

[Layla’s telling the absolute truth. Every time Mr. Fields goes hunting, Stella claims she’s tidying camp, bu she never lifts a finger.]

[Being a spoiled heiress means nothing here. Every contestant has status, yet only she acts like she’s above everyone else.]

She turned to Carson with teary eyes, her voice trembling with grievance. “I did tidy up our camp every single day, honest.”

Carson knew full well the truth of her laziness, but he chose never to call her out publicly.

With the live broadcast streaming to the entire galaxy, he had no wish to humiliate her further in front of millions of viewers.

Turning toward Layla, he gave a polite nod. “Thank you for your help today. I’ll send over our share of prey as soon as we make a kill.”

A subtle smile tugged at Layla’s lips as she watched him defuse the awkward moment for Stella.

She shrugged casually and left with King Kong in tow.

Hatred and malice blazed in Stella’s eyes as she stared at Layla’s retreating figure.

Carson bent to gather the lumber and stack it neatly to one side, getting straight to work without calling on the other males for help.

Oliver sauntered over, leaning down beside him with an amused glint in his eyes. “Still planning to play the loyal laborer for her?”

Without lifting his gaze from his task, Carson replied flatly, “I joined this competition. I’ll see it through to the end.”

Oliver rolled his eyes inwardly.

Deep down, Carson was a good man with a kind heart-too soft-hearted, too loyal, and burdened by an overwhelming sense of responsibility.

Chapter 255 Dinosaur Egg?

These fine traits only chained him down.

His gaze drifted to Stella, who was being comforted by the two males beside her.

A clever idea sparked in Oliver’s mind, and he smiled to himself, already plotting his next move

It took nearly an entire day for all contestants to finish building their campsites.

Of every shelter erected across the alien landscape, Layla’s group stood head and shoulders above the rest.

Their tree hollow was spacious and fully furnished: three separate beds partitioned by wooden screens, six-seater dining table, a side cabinet for storage, a handmade stone stove, and sturdy wooden shelving lining the walls.

Compared to the crude makeshift huts thrown together by other teams, their home felt warm and livable

Dusk had fallen completely by the time construction wrapped up.

A loud growl rumbled from Layla’s empty stomach, loud enough to draw the attention of everyone nearby.

Liam stepped close to her side, his tone soft and gentle. “Are you hungry?”

Layla nodded with a smile. “The sun’s almost set. It’s far too risky to wander into the wilderness after dark.”

Her thoughts drifted to the giant egg she’d traded for earlier.

She fetched it from the storage cabinet and tapped its shell lightly.

A dull, heavy thud echoed back, proof of an incredibly thick, tough outer casing.

Staring at the tiny air pores dotting the surface, she couldn’t help but wonder.

Could this really be a dinosaur egg?

King Kong’s eager reaction earlier ruled out the possibility of it being an ordinary bird egg.

Layla grabbed a nearby rock and smashed it hard against the shell-yet the egg didn’t crack at all.

The impact only sent a sharp jolt of pain shooting up her wrist.

She blinked in surprise.

No doubt about it, this has to be a dinosaur egg. I’m definitely eating this tonight.

As she rolled up her sleeves to strike again, Daisy stepped forward to stop her.

Shifting partially into her beast form, she extended her sharp claw with a warm smile. “I haven’t gotten to help much today. Let me handle this.”
