Beast Love Show: All For Her (by Sylvester Raven) novel Chapter 312

Chapter 312 New Rules

Their past mistakes, fueled by Stella’s lies, hung in the air between them.

Even Carson, typically the most composed, had given Layla the cold shoulder back then.

The four men sat in the now-quiet courtyard as a faint breeze stirred.

Liam was the first to break the silence. “If it weren’t for Shane sticking by her, Layla might never have give us a chance. We should… make space for them. Let Shane have more time with her.”

Carson nodded his agreement immediately.

Nearby, George and Oliver locked eyes, mutual disdain flashing between them.

“She can spend time with anyone…” George muttered.

“As long as it’s not him,” Oliver said, almost in unison.

They glared at each other, the old rivalry instantly rekindled.

Liam sighed, running a hand through, his hair before looping an arm around George’s neck in a half-hold. “You two causing less drama would be the biggest help to Layla.”

Meanwhile, Carson had gotten to his feet and started tidying the courtyard.

While the guests had helped clear the obvious trash and dishes, the final cleanup-restoring order to the space-fell to them.

He’d been working steadily for a while before Liam finally noticed.

“Hey, why’re you doing it all yourself?” Liam asked, releasing George and walking over.

He’d been too busy playing referee to see Carson tackling the chore alone.

Is he a wolf or a workhorse?

A flicker of guilt crossed Liam’s features.

Carson continued scrubbing a plate, his tone even. “It’s fine. Dealing with those two looked exhausting.”

Honestly, given the choice between mediating George and Oliver’s bickering and manual labor, Carson would pick the chore every time.

Just imagining their arguments gave him a headache.

Liam nodded, then his expression turned serious. “Those two around Stella… they don’t sit right. We need to stay alert.”

Carson paused his washing, giving a grim nod.

He’d seen the chat comments, too, though he had no clear memory of Julian or Leonard.

His instincts, however, were rarely wrong.

Neither man gave off a good vibe.

As a general, Liam had a keen sense for hidden agendas.

Leonard’s gaze as he watched Layla earlier? It hadn’t been innocent.

“From now on, Layla shouldn’t be alone. At least one of us needs to be with her, in case Stella’s crew tries. something,” Liam said, picking up a towel to dry.

Carson grunted in firm agreement.

Once the courtyard was spotless, the group retired for the night.

Passing Layla and Shane’s closed door, Carson hesitated for a brief moment, his gaze lingering before he moved on to his own room.

Lying in bed, he stared at the wooden ceiling, thoughts churning.

Maybe I need to lay my cards on the table. Tell Layla how I feel. If she can’t accept it… then I should leave. Staying just makes things awkward for her and hurts Shane.

With that heavy resolution, he finally surrendered to sleep.

Deep in the night, when the world was still, two figures moved like shadows toward the contestants’ cabin.

Leonard and Julian exchanged a look, malice gleaming in their eyes.

Finding a blind spot away from the Vanguard drones, they quickly dug a small hole.

Into it, they placed a dark, obsidian-like crystal.

Covering their tracks meticulously, they smoothed the earth back into place before melting back into the darkness, their task complete.

The next morning, Layla was dragged from sleep not by sunlight, but by the sound of George’s voice, raised

in irritation.
