Chapter 333 A Genius at Making Money

Layla sliced off a whole chunk of venison from the leg and coated it in a blend of sauces. She tied it up tight with string, rolled it, and set it aside.

Then she cracked a few eggs, whisked them with hot water, and set the bowl in the steamer once the water came to a boil.

She gutted and scaled a fish, scored it, and poured in some of the ginger brew from earlier. She tossed in some wild herbs that tasted close to scallions and put it in with the eggs to steam.

She grabbed another fish, one with fewer bones and more meat. She fried it in the pan until it broke apart, then dumped in hot water and more ginger brew.

The broth quickly turned thick, creamy, and milky white.

[You can make fish soup like that? I always just throw the whole fish in and simmer it forever, and the broth never gets that white.]
