Beast Love Show: All For Her (by Sylvester Raven) novel Chapter 336

Chapter 336 You Have a Real Sense of Justice

Layla turned and left the wormhole.

If those really were interstellar pirates, they’d be back eventually. An interstellar fugitive showing up on Planet A13 out of nowhere wasn’t a coincidence. There was a reason.

She had to tell the other contestants. Problem was, she didn’t trust any of them.

Her brow furrowed in thought as she walked, and without realizing it, she’d ended up near a familiar tent.

Emily was out front getting a fire going. She looked up and saw Layla, a flicker of confusion crossing her face. “What brings you here?” she asked.

Layla met Emily’s steady gaze and felt her resolve settle. She glanced around.

One of the Vanguards was off in the distance, tracking Jacob while he did laundry. Watching a big guy like that do housework was a fun contrast, and viewers ate it up.

Layla dropped her voice low. “There are signs of interstellar pirates on this planet.”

Emily’s eyes widened sharply. “How do you know?” she asked.

“We found a piece of mech armor while we were out exploring the area. It had their insignia on it,” Layla said.

Emily’s face went serious. “Keep this to yourself for now. I’ll keep an eye out.”

Layla understood. Nothing had happened yet, and blurting it out would just send everyone into a panic.

Besides, who knew if one of the other contestants was working with the pirates? Tip them off too early, and they’d have time to get ready.

“If anything happens, come find me at the cabin. I’ll help,” Layla said.

Emily looked at Layla, something complicated flickering in her eyes. She nodded. “Same goes for you. If you need us, come find us.”

Layla turned to leave, but Emily hesitated and called out, “Layla, why do you trust me?”

Layla stopped but didn’t turn around. She stood there for a moment, thinking, then tilted her head slightly to the side. “Because you have a real sense of justice. I can tell. You’re nothing like Stella,” she said.

Then she raised a hand in a casual wave and headed back toward the cabin to tell Shane and the others what the Wormhole Queen had said.

She was walking along the trail when she felt it-a gaze locked onto her back, tracking her every step.

Is it Stella’s people again?

Layla frowned, on alert now. She changed direction abruptly and broke into a sprint toward a slope. Footsteps burst out behind her.
