Chapter 365 Sabotage the Test Results
Layla’s gaze hardened. “Carson, Liam, with me. Get them under control. I’m going to check inside.”
They nodded, moving with practiced ease.
Slipping around the suspicious figures unseen, they struck in unison from behind.
Before their targets could react, Carson and Liam had their wrists locked, forcing them face-down into the dirt.
Struggles were futile against their iron grips.
Inside the medical tent, Layla found a doctor hunched over a table, a report spread before him.
Her gaze fixed on the name at the top: “Leonard”.
She approached quietly. “Doctor, are the results in? Was there berserker rage serum in his system?”
The doctor glanced up, his expression grave.
He said, picking up the document, “I was just about to come find you. The test confirms it. High concentrations of berserker rage residue. He’s been on it for a while. We also detected an unknown substance mixed with the serum. Still analyzing that component.”
A knowing smile touched Layla’s lips. “I see. Doctor, please announce the findings publicly as soon as possible. Everyone needs to know the truth about Leonard.”
“Understood.” The doctor gave a firm nod, aware of the urgency.
Stepping back outside, Layla found Carson and Liam had hauled the captured intruders aside.
The men wore masks of terror, babbling pleas for mercy.
“Who sent you?” Layla’s voice was flat, devoid of warmth.
They exchanged nervous glances, hesitating.
Liam’s tone sharpened to a crack. “Spill it. Or would you prefer a trip to the Interstellar Tribunal?”
They clearly recognized who he was.
In an instant, everyone fell silent.
After a few seconds, the threat, coming from him, had an immediate effect.
One man finally stammered, trembling, “W-We’re tramps. Got a job last night-just sabotage the test results. That’s all.”
Layla’s eyebrow arched, a cold smirk playing on her lips.
Ciara’s covering her tracks. Sending outsiders was smart.

She turned to Carson. “Hold them for now. We’ll hand them over to the production crew
While she didn’t fully trust the show’s management, they were the only official channel to get these men to the authorities.
“Got it.” Carson said, starting to lead the captives away.
A rustle at the entrance drew Layla’s attention.
Stella peered in, Julian lurking behind her.
Layla was mildly amused.
Couldn’t even wait it out.
At the sight of Layla, Stella’s expression faltered.
She bit her lip and stepped forward. “Layla. What are you doing here?”
“Waiting for the results. Same as you, I assume?” Layla replied, a hint of mockery in her smile.
Stella’s heart skipped a beat. She cleared her throat, masking her unease. “Of course. This involves the Grand family’s reputation. I want to know who’s trying to frame us.”
Layla couldn’t help a short laugh.
