Betrayed by Blood: My Second Life as a Queen novel Chapter 122

The post detailed all of Tessa's manipulative stunts recently—stealing the spotlight at the wedding, plagiarizing the sheet music, cheating in the competition, and... parading around as Caspian Skye's protégé when the maestro himself had never publicly acknowledged her.

She was exposed as a pathological liar!

Instantly, the fallout caused stock prices for both the Shaw and Landon families to plummet. Realizing just how bad things were getting, Tessa posted a tearful, pathetic video trying to defend herself. Crying her eyes out, she claimed she was just immature and that her past mistakes were entirely unintentional.

Too bad the internet wasn't buying it!

The top comment went straight for the jugular: [She's twenty-two and still 'immature'? Does that mean I can get away with murder at thirty-two?]

That comment blew up, gaining a massive lead in likes. Tessa didn't even bother replying; she just quietly deleted the video in shame.

Unfortunately for her, the internet is forever.

Deleting the video only made things worse. The backlash hit harder than before, and the mockery reached an all-time high.

Vivienne waited until Willow finished scrolling before narrowing her eyes. "That little hypocrite won't be able to keep up the act much longer. Do you think your psycho brothers will still clean up her messes like they always do?"

Willow raised a brow. "Probably. They're willfully blind, after all."

Vivienne scoffed. "Then they can wait to get dragged down to hell right alongside her! If she can't officially secure Caspian as her mentor this time, her reputation is completely unrecoverable."

That reminded Willow. She had asked Dr. Adelina Sterling to pull up Caspian's old medical records, but there hadn't been any updates yet. She needed to follow up.

"What's on your mind? You spaced out," Vivienne asked, looking curious.

Willow snapped back to reality and smiled brightly. "Vivienne, did you talk to Mr. Skye about this yet?"

"Of course I did." Just mentioning it made Vivienne furious. "He kept rambling about how he can't forget a life-saving debt! I talked until I was blue in the face, but it was useless. The man is practically volunteering to ruin his own legacy!"

Willow's eyes curved into crescents. "Give me two days. I have a way to convince him."
