The reporters' eyes instantly lit up. "You have more evidence?"
Willow held up a single finger. "Just a little."
With that, she conspiratorially waved them over. The reporters exchanged eager glances and quickly crowded around her.
With a flick of her wrist, Willow handed them her phone.
The more the reporters read, the wider their eyes grew.
A chorus of stunned gasps rippled through the group.
Curious, Vivienne leaned in for a look. Her eyes instantly brightened as she turned to Willow. "Where did you get all this?"
Willow smiled brightly. "Secret."
Vivienne raised an eyebrow but didn't press further.
As an open-minded mentor, she believed it was perfectly reasonable for her student to keep a few secrets.
One of the more enthusiastic reporters couldn't help but ask, "Is all this evidence actually real?"
"Absolutely authentic," Willow replied.
After all, she had pulled it directly from The Landon Medical Center's secure database. How could it be fake?
Hearing that, the reporters grew even more frenzied, snapping endless photos of Willow's screen.
Feeling it was taking too long, Willow offered, "I'll make a group chat and send you the files directly so you have them in high definition."
The reporters nodded vigorously. Willow's fingers flew across the screen, and in moments, everything was sent. The journalists walked away looking utterly satisfied, their pace brisk as if terrified someone else might steal their explosive scoop.
With the main players gone, the press conference naturally came to an end.
Vivienne glanced at Caspian on stage. He looked as if a crushing weight had been lifted from his shoulders, radiating an incredible sense of relief with a relaxed, genuine smile.
