But later on, Julian purchased Stellamare Villa as their marital home. Even though she was a little disappointed, she played the supportive fiancé and went along with it. The penthouse had remained empty ever since.

Looking back now, Hester realized that perhaps fate had a plan all along. Stepping into the stunning apartment today, she felt a profound sense of relief. Moving was exhausting, and since Hester was pregnant, Gael flat-out refused to let her lift a finger. Hester just stood on the sidelines, pointing out where the boxes should go.

They worked from sunrise to sunset until the new home was perfectly organized. Hester ordered takeout, and the two of them ate dinner on the rooftop terrace.

"Are you planning to hide the pregnancy from Julian forever?" Gael asked between bites.

"Yes. He already has a family with Melody. This baby has absolutely nothing to do with him."

"But you won't be able to hide a baby bump forever, right?"

"Exactly. Which is why I need to have everything settled before I start showing."

Hester took a sip of her soup, pausing for a moment before continuing, "Even an uncontested divorce has a mandatory waiting period. If Julian cooperates, great. If he fights me on it, I'll take it to court."

"Nail him for adultery!" Gael exclaimed. "That secret kid and Silverstream Villa are rock-solid proof that he's been cheating!"

"I know. But the high-profile lawyer I want hasn't had time to sit down and review the case with me yet. I'll check in with Sabrina tomorrow."

"Okay, good. As long as you have a strategy, I can relax."
