Pineapple Beer looked at the spread of raw, organic food and smiled.

“Since the hosts are being so polite, we can’t be stingy.”

The others followed her lead.

In an instant, the stone table was covered in a bizarre variety of foods.

Beside the monkeys‘ fruit and honey.

Riley produced several cans of Refined Beef Stew.

Nobody contributed vacuum–sealed packs of Spicy Duck Necks and Peanuts.

ToxicReaper brought out his specialty–French Cream Mushroom Soup.

Even BigMountain sheepishly pulled out three bottles of Beer.

“I got these when I first arrived in the wastes and couldn’t bear to drink them,” BigMountain scratched his head. “How about a round? We won’t get drunk on just this much.”

ToxicReaper then pushed up his glasses and pulled a bottle of green powder from his bag.

“Um… this is my custom Multi–Vitamin Seasoning Powder. The color is a bit weird, but it adds micronutrients to the soup. Want a sprinkle?”

“Don’t you dare!”

The group shouted in unison.

Was he serious? Who would dare eat a powder provided by ToxicReaper? One bite and you’d probably

meet your ancestors.

“Hahaha!”

Amidst the laughter and insults, the feast began.

Around the stone table, a group of people glowing in gold and purple sat together. A few old monkeys squatted nearby, freeloading on the snacks.

Tartking served Riley a bowl of mushroom soup. “Riley, try this. I added some of the monkeys/honey, the flavor is incredible.”

Riley took a sip and her eyes lit up. “Not bad. Sweet but savory.”

“Hehe, then I’m officially applying to be your personal chef!” TartKing grinned from ear to ear.

“I’ll take the position of dishwasher then.”

Nobody whispered, nibbling on a muffin with careful bites. “I… I don’t eat much, but I work hard.”

“Don’t say such silly things.”

“Yeah! And me!”

ToxicReaper raised his hand. “I can be the guild alchemist! My potions have side effects, sure, but they save lives in a pinch! Look at today–my venom actually did something!”

Mentioning the venom made everyone’s expression turn a bit complicated.

“Fine. As long as you don’t poison your teammates, we’ll save a spot for you.”

Riley nodded.

In her heart, she had already accepted these people.

BigMountain raised his glass. “To fate! To Riley! And to… being alive!”

The group toasted again.

In this forest that had just been a graveyard, surrounded by a troop of monkeys, this simple dinner tasted better than a five–star banquet.

There was no plotting, no calculating for profit.

Only the pure aroma of food and a bond forged in blood.

After eating her fill, Riley leaned against the stone table, staring at the glittering stars and her teammates who were now playing with the monkeys.

Only one day left. I wonder how Neeko is doing.

With that thought, she used the Auto–Feeder to send some delicious treats back home.

The banquet ended as night deepened.
