Though Riley didn’t talk much, in Nobody’s eyes, the woman who had crushed the evil Nightfall Guild and carved through the black fog was cooler than any anime hero.
No one understood the sense of salvation she felt when the ID ‘SpicyBurger‘ appeared in the Region Channel amidst that hopeless mist.
“Have you changed classes yet?” Riley asked.
“Huh? No, not yet.”
Nobody sat up straight immediately. “I leached a lot of XP from BigMountain the last few days, plus today’s farm with you guys. I just hit the Level 10 cap, but I need a Class Change Certificate to keep leveling.”
“I see,” Riley nodded.
Levels came fast in the beginning; even after all that farming today, she was only Level 16.
“Don’t sweat it. As the regions merge, those items will drop more often. Plus, the stored XP system means you’ll get your levels back instantly once you promote. You won’t fall behind.”
For an average player, Nobody was already in the top tier.
“Riley…” Nobody hesitated before whispering, “Is… is it hard? I mean, if I wanted to become a Warrior too, what are the requirements?”
“A Warrior?”
Riley turned to look at her, surprised. “You want to be a Warrior?”
“Yes!”
Nobody nodded vigorously, her eyes full of longing. “I think Warriors are so cool! Especially when you use Charge.”
Riley looked at the girl’s serious face and couldn’t help but smile.
“I’m flattered you think I’m cool.”
Riley’s tone was gentle. “But choosing a class isn’t about looking cool; it’s about compatibility.
“The Warrior class relies on physical stats and combat instinct. You have to fight monsters point–blank, which means the margin for error is tiny. It’s dangerous. Think it through before you commit.”
If Riley didn’t have her advanced gear and insane stats, she wouldn’t want to risk a melee brawl every day either. Staying in the back was much safer.

“Besides… every class has its moment to shine. Being ‘strong‘ isn’t just about swinging an axe. Surviving in the wastes by making the most of your skills–that’s its own kind of strength,” Riley added.
Nobody nodded thoughtfully, though it was hard to tell if she truly understood.
The two sat behind the rock, wrapped in blankets, and continued to chat.
Suddenly, Riley’s ears twitched.
“Someone’s coming.”
Riley’s voice turned cold instantly, her gentle demeanor vanishing to be replaced by a sharp, lethal intent.
Nobody followed Riley’s gaze toward the trees.
Riley didn’t move or even shift her posture, looking completely off–guard.
“Relax. Let them get closer.”
Deep in the woods, the sound of rustling grew louder. Nearby bushes swayed slightly.
“Boss… look! Told you it was gold! Look at that massive glow!”
“Shh! Quiet! Anyone with a gold halo isn’t going to be a pushover.”
“So what?! There are only two of them! And the gold one is just sitting there–she’s probably asleep! We’ll just scout it out. If things go south, we run. We’ve got nothing to lose anyway.”
“True. Fortune favors the bold! If we can loot her, we won’t have to worry about food for months!”
“The map says there’s a monster troop here, but I don’t hear anything.”
“It’s late; they’re definitely sleeping. Look at that hollow–there’s light inside.”
Three sneaky figures emerged from the shadows.
They stared at Riley, the greed in their eyes almost visible.
“Move in!”
The leader, a man with a heavy blade, gave a low command. The three fanned out to surround them.
The trio were clearly long–time associates with decent coordination; they closed the distance to sixteen feet in a heartbeat, muffling their footsteps for a surprise attack.
Nobody was so nervous her heart was in her throat, but seeing Riley’s calm expression, she forced herself to stay still.
One man sprinted onto a rock, let out a roar, and swung his blade toward Riley behind the stone.
