+20 Free Coins.

Riley opened her system menu and selected Defense Structures, then picked the Stone Wall.

“Wall them off.”

She traced a line in the empty air. A bright rectangular light frame appeared around the four new cabins.

“Build.”

Rumble!

Golden light flared up once again in the dark night.

Jack and the others stared in pure shock as a gray stone wall over six feet tall shot straight out of the ground.

It was not just a plain wall.

Riley added sharp iron spikes along the top, exactly like the ones around her main yard. The spikes glinted coldly under the moonlight.

A heavy iron gate automatically formed at the main entrance of the small residential area.

Complete silence fell over the group.

The only sound was the crackling bonfire.

Jack’s mouth hung open. He stared at the sudden wall, then glanced at Riley, who looked completely unbothered.

He finally understood why Joseph and the others trusted her so blindly.

Is this mage’s power truly limitless? She waves her hand, and any building she wants appears out of thin

air.

“The wall should make you feel safer.

“If you need anything, just ask Joseph. He has all the basic supplies.

“It’s getting late. Go get some rest.”

Riley yawned. She waved goodbye to Jack’s group and walked toward her main yard with

Pineapple Beer and TartKing.

Neeko followed close behind, along with Ash.

Jack’s four people stood frozen on the spot.

“Jack, don’t be so tense.” Joseph smiled.

“Those three mages are really easy to get along with.”

“How long have you been staying here?” Jack turned to ask him.

“We’ve been here ever since our town vanished.

“She saved us from a giant bear and took us in. We just do simple chores for her, and she handles everything else.”

“I see.” Jack nodded slowly, his eyes still fixed on the direction Riley had left.

The next morning arrived.

It was the first clear sunny day after the huge snowstorm.

Sunlight slipped through the curtains and fell across the bed. Riley stretched and climbed out of her soft fluffy blanket.

“This feels nice.”

Without the howling storm wind, the world felt eerily quiet.

She had spent the previous day capturing resource nodes and building new houses. It had drained a lot of her energy, so she had slept extremely well.

Riley checked the resource nodes she had claimed the day before. Thankfully, no other guild had tried to seize them, probably because the area was remote.

As for NorthWind’s camp on the other side of the rift, he had never come near her territory.

Riley had no interest in his area either. It was best to leave each other alone unless absolutely

necessary.

After washing up, Riley headed downstairs to the dining hall

Necko had already warmed up breakfast: fried eggs, bacon, hot milk, and blueberry pancakes.

Necko could not cook these meals on her own. TartKing had pre-made all the food, and Necko simply reheated it each morning.

“Good morning, Riley!”

Necko carried a large plate of pancakes to the table.

“The men are in the yard. They wanted to see you. I told them you were still asleep and let them come in, but they refused to come inside.”

“It’s fine. You did well, Neeko.”

Riley walked to the window and looked outside.

Jack and Tom were standing in the front yard, gesturing toward the rising sun as if trying to figure out their direction.

In the distance, Anna and Lily were helping Joseph organize his moved belongings.

A good night’s sleep had clearly restored most of their energy.

Riley grabbed a pancake in one hand and held her milk in the other. She walked outside.

“Good morning, Jack, Tom. Did you sleep well? Have you eaten breakfast yet?”

“We slept very well, thanks to you. We have already had breakfast with Joseph and the others.”

Jack and Tom quickly stopped their conversation and bowed respectfully to Riley.
