Taking a deep breath, Chandler forced himself to speak calmly. “Fine. Dad, I was being impulsive. I accept all of your decisions.”

He spoke through clenched teeth, already calculating the best time to get rid of Justin.

Justin raised an eyebrow and looked at Chandler provocatively, his eyes full of disdain, as if Chandler and Danielle were nothing but trash.

Danielle glared at Justin in fury.

“Adriana.” Adriana had been fully focused on watching the drama, waiting for Jeremy to reveal the truth, when she heard a slightly weak voice behind her. She turned around and was surprised to see Matthew.

His complexion looked awful, and his smile at Adriana was strained.

Adriana rolled her eyes at Matthew. What a mood killer.

“Well, look who showed up,” Curtis teased, calmly pulling Adriana to his side and stepping in front of her, placing himself between her and Matthew.

Matthew was displeased and spoke through gritted teeth. “You showing up today means Chandler and Nicole are definitely going to make things hard for you. Of course, I had to come watch the show.”

Curtis nodded. “Then you came at the right time. Watch closely. The real show’s about to start.”

All the reporters were crowding around Jeremy. Matthew took the chance to lower his voice. “My dad and Rex won’t let this go… They’re coming after you. They won’t give you any breathing room. Be careful.”

Curtis didn’t respond, clearly not taking Rex and Raymond seriously at all.

“Mr. Jeremy, what you’re saying means you’re officially confirming Ms. Nicole’s status as the heir, correct?” a reporter asked excitedly.

Nicole straightened proudly, lifted her chin, and struck the posture of a wealthy heir.

Justin’s assistant brought over the real DNA report. Copies were handed out to every reporter

present.

The reporters instantly exploded.

Nicole’s face turned deathly pale as she looked at Danielle in panic.

Danielle panicked, too, and looked nervously at Chandler.

“Dad…” Chandler was just as shaken.

“Don’t call me Dad!” Jeremy glared at Chandler in fury. “In front of all these reporters today, I’ll make it clear. From this moment on, you and Danielle are expelled from the Bartons. Everything belonging to the Bartons has nothing to do with you, and I am cutting off all ties with you!”

Chandler nearly lost his footing, staring at Jeremy in disbelief.
