Lily’s hands shook a little, and she felt very nervous as she looked at Caspian. Her voice was soft. “Okay…
I’ll do it.”
After that, Savannah ended the call right away.
She was a little full of herself. She had spent her whole life controlling people and getting her way, so she thought everyone would be too scared to ever challenge her.
But her way only made people afraid. It couldn’t truly win their loyalty.
Seeing Lily agree, Caspian finally untied her, signaling that she was free to go.
Lily paused for a moment, then asked Caspian, “What do you want me to do?”
“Nothing yet. Just go along with it when the time comes,” Caspian said, making a cup of instant noodles without even looking up.
Lily nodded and walked out.
After she left, Caspian sent the live video to Denton.
Harborton, Lincoln Estate.
Denton was lying on his bed, looking at the message from Caspian.
Lily was under control now. Once Savannah and Ernest let their guard down, he could use his connections and supporters to take over Lincoln Group and start a full cleanup.
Lincoln Group needed new people.
Except for Curtis’s team, everyone else would be replaced.
“Denton, let’s go,” Savannah called as she knocked on the door.
Denton stood up and walked outside.
That day, Savannah was bringing Denton to meet several people. They were top executives inside Lincoln Group.
At this point, she trusted Denton enough to show him the secret people she had placed inside the
company.
These people all worked for Savannah.
Once Denton was fully under her control, Ernest would make his move.
And the people Ernest had hidden inside Lincoln Group were the real key. They were the ones who could

turn everything upside down.
Denton met a lot of people and quietly remembered their names and positions.
When he took charge one day, he would deal with each of them, one after another.

“Are you sure this Denton will listen and do what we tell him?” Denton had stepped out to use the restroom, and several executives in the private room spoke in low voices to Savannah.
Savannah replied with total confidence, “Don’t worry. Denton is just a rookie. He doesn’t understand anything yet, so he has no choice but to depend on us. By the time he sees the truth, it’ll already be too late. And besides…” She paused. “I’ve planted a woman next to him. She can destroy him. Relax.”
She curved her lips into a small smile. She had found Denton’s biggest weak spot.
“Good,” the others said with a nod. “If we can control him, then let’s push him up as fast as possible. We can use him to get rid of Curtis’s people in the company. Those loyalists are such a headache.”
Inside the company, Curtis had placed his people in all the key positions. Right now, Lincoln Group is basically split in two.
On one side were Curtis’s people. On the other were Savannah and Ernest’s people. Both sides had absolute power, and neither could fully remove the other.
If Denton became their tool, once he was in charge, they could reshuffle Lincoln Group completely.
“Don’t worry,” Savannah said, smiling as she imagined a bright future.
She pictured herself as the queen behind the scenes, controlling Lincoln Group. She didn’t think Justin could keep ignoring her then.
Thinking about Justin, she peeked at his Instagram. Still blank. Nothing new.
She scrolled back a few times, then blinked in surprise. Justin, who never posted anything, suddenly wrote a message, “Fairness? If you had only one apple, would you give it to your lost son wandering outside, or to the loyal dog you’ve raised at home?”
Savannah blinked, thinking she must be imagining things. She tapped on his profile to check again–yep, it was definitely Justin. But soon after, he deleted it.
Her lips curved into a smile. So there was a gap between Justin and Jeremy.
The Barton Group was like that apple. Jeremy planned to leave everything to Nicole, who never stayed home to be a good daughter, while Justin was like the loyal dog he kept.
By comparing himself to a dog, Justin was definitely upset.
All these years, many people had mocked that Justin was just the Bartons‘ kept dog. But he always stayed calm and unreadable, as if nothing could get under his skin.

But did he really not care?
Savannah felt like she had just spotted an opportunity.
If Justin joined forces with her, she could help him take over Barton Group.

Excited, she quickly sent him a message, “Justin, it’s been years since I got back to Harborton. Do you have time to hang out with me?”
Justin didn’t reply.
Savannah felt a little annoyed.
Denton had returned, and everyone went back to discussing about Lincoln Group.
“Mr. Denton, you’re now the heir to Lincoln Group. Mr. Lincoln set everything up for you. With our support, don’t worry–we’ll make sure nothing stands in your way,” the lead executive said with a smile, pouring Denton a drink.
