The only reason Silas had such a shady reputation was because of the status of his mother. Cedric died not long after Silas was born, and the new head of the Harrisons, Gary’s father, refused to acknowledge a half–brother younger than his own son.
“You all just wait and see.” Savannah glared at the conference room, gritting her teeth.
The only thing she could do now was use Adrian to take Mister out.
Once Mister was out of the way, Silas would have to leave Lincoln Group. When that happened, she’d finally call the shots.
Adriana’s place.
Adriana had gone back to Haldoria under the pretense of holding a memorial for Curtis.
Even she hadn’t seen the Lincoln Group shakeup coming.
“Adriana, it’s Silas.” When Denton told her that the person sent by Mister was Silas, Adriana was genuinely shocked.
She’d never heard Curtis mention Silas, but Irene complained about him all the time.
She said Gary had this “uncle” younger than him a guy named Silas who was smart, attractive, smooth–talking, great with people, and always handled things just right. The o generation of Harrisons loved to compare Gary to Silas.
So for Gary, Curtis wasn’t really a sore spot. Deep down, Gary cared about his nephew.
But Silas? That was the one thing guaranteed to set Gary off.
He was a walking landmine as far as Gary was concerned.
“One thing is for sure, Silas is definitely working for Mister.” Silas was Mister’s most trusted right–hand man.
With Ernest dead and Chandler ruined, Mister was finally playing his trump card.
Silas was probably Mister’s last–or maybe his best ace.
“You still need to keep a close watch on Savannah. Don’t let her find out too soon that Lincoln Group’s shares are no longer in your hands. If she does, she’ll be alerted. She asked to meet me tonight, so she’s obviously hoping to use me to go after Mister. That works in our favor,”

Adriana urged Denton to play it cool.
This was the crucial moment.
Mister’s identity might finally be within reach.
After all, Silas had just revealed himself.

Ainsworth Group.
Ronan slipped into the office, glancing around to make sure no one else was there before speaking. “It’s Silas. He’s the one taking over Lincoln Group. This is insane…”
Curtis already knew Silas had come back to the country. He looked serious. There was no way to tell if he was pleased or upset.
Ronan was genuinely speechless. After all the scheming, they’d only managed to smoke out a member of Curtis’s mom’s own family.
Technically, Silas was a relative from Curtis’s mom’s side.
“I’ll reach out to Gary and see what I can find out” Curtis called Gary. “Silas is now running Lincoln Group. Mister put him in charge. Silas knows who Mister is, and he’s definitely in the inner circle.”
Silas definitely knew a lot of Mister’s secrets.
Gary was silent on the other end.
He was clearly furious.
It took him a long time to speak again. “I’ll go talk to him.”
“Don’t lose your temper. Your Uncle Silas can’t take you in a fight. Don’t beat him up before you get answers,” Curtis warned Gary, hoping he wouldn’t be reckless and get physical.
That was a habit Gary really needed to break.
“Heh…” Just hearing the words “Uncle Silas” made Gary want to explode. “If you were here, I’d beat you up too.”
“Collateral damage,” Curtis said with a small grin then quickly ended the call.
He understood why Gary was so angry. Curtis’s mom was Gary’s big sister, and her death had always been Gary’s biggest regret.
