“Stay safe over there.”

Nella nodded. “I will.”

Alfred didn’t try to stop her. After a few more reminder he let her go.

“Goodbye.”

Even after Nella passed through security, Alfred stood frozen in place, unable to move.

Sergio was about to mention that doctors on international relief missions would be placed in UN- designated civilian protection zones.

But knowing how worried his boss was, he kept his mouth shut and simply agreed.

“I’ll have Richie pick out some of our best mercenaries. They’ll stay with her the whole time.”
