Chapter 425 A Farewell
Finished
“My remains have already been donated to the medical school through Kayson. I hope they can help you in the future.
“Lastly, please help me apologize to my grandpa and the others. I have no face to see them, so I won’t.
“Sunny, live well.
“I’m sorry for calling you that again. Forgive me this one last time. I won’t call you that ever again.”
By the time Nella finished reading Wesley’s farewell letter, she was already sobbing uncontrollably.
The paper was soaked through with her tears.
She had been angry at him and lamed him, but she never thought that their parting that day would be a final goodbye.
Later, she told the Keywoods that Wesley had already passed away.
The Keywoods had long known about the things Wesley had done, including luring Alfred to Seldoria with the intention of letting him die there.
An obsession that lasted over twenty years had now turned into nothing but a pile of white bones.
“Dad, should we tell Tolina about this?” Sebastian looked at the old master and asked.
Regis weakly waved his hand. “Forget it. Let her stay in prison properly.”
Regis had visibly aged a lot.
One grandson’s life was still uncertain, and another grandson was already dead.
Most of Regis’s spirit had been drained away.
“Dad, you need to take care of your health.”
Regis sat on the couch and let out a long sigh.
Sebastian also fell silent.
He had been angry and furious about the things his nephew had done.
But at the time, he didn’t know what he was thinking and still let him manage the Keywood Group.
During that time, every decision Wesley made was good for the Keywood Group. He didn’t actually try to destroy the company or the family like he said he would.
Perhaps the reason he never took the power back was because, deep down, he knew that child still held
onto a trace of kindness.
One year later…

Chapter 425 A Farewell
Finished
Spring arrived, with flowers blooming everywhere.
Nella came home after walking Marshal.
Hearing the movement, Sunny meowed and ran toward them.
Before Wesley went to Seldoria to join Doctor Without Borders, he had asked Clifford and his wife to raise Sunny.
After having a younger brother, Nella now had a younger sister who shared the same nickname as her.
Clifford finally had the chance to call Sunny again.
Just then, her phone rang.
“Marshal, take Sunny to play. I need to answer the phone.”
Nella patted Marshal’s big, fluffy butt and checked her phone. It was a call from the hospital.
“Nella, your application to the research institute in Darvonia has been approved.”
A few months earlier, Nella had applied to further her studies at the neurosurgery research center in Darvonia.
The application email was sent months ago. She thought she had been rejected, so she didn’t expect to get a call today.
“Nella, come to the hospital now to finish the paperwork.”
