Caught Him Cheating My Life Restarted (Natalie) novel Chapter 133

"We'll know if it's a frame-up after a proper investigation. No need to panic. After all, if you didn't do it, you have nothing to fear."

Terence's tone was chilling, and his last words, "nothing to fear," sent a shiver down Marie's spine.

Marie clenched her fists. Even if he was Terence Lockwood, she had covered her tracks. She refused to believe he could find any evidence.

At that moment, the headmistress hurried over and bowed to Terence. "Mr. Lockwood, it's an honor to have you here in person. The parents are now being seated. Please, allow me to show you to the front row."

Terence nodded, and Natalie began to push his wheelchair forward.

Marie gritted her teeth. How did Natalie manage to get involved with Terence Lockwood?

She was just a divorced woman with a child. What right did she have to catch the eye of a man like Terence Lockwood?

Seething with rage, Marie turned, only to find Darren standing behind her, his eyes fixed on Natalie.

That sight only fanned the flames of her fury.

...

The intelligence competition began. Representatives from the Helios Institute for Advanced Minds sat at the judges' table below the stage.

The headmistress acted as the host.

"We will now begin the preliminary round. The children will start in their respective classrooms. Any child who can solve all six sides of the cube within fifteen minutes may leave their classroom and come to the stage for the next round. Parents, let's watch and see which of our brilliant children will emerge first!"

The parents waited with bated breath, all eyes on the classroom doors.

Inside the classroom, Hanley quickly twisted the cube in his hands. He had practiced for a long time; fifteen minutes was more than enough for him.

"Fantastic, Lucas! Take your cube and head to the stage."

Hanley felt like he was going to explode. How had he finished too? Hanley only had one piece left! He should have been ahead of him!

"Teacher, I only had one piece left! I was just distracted talking to you. He can't be considered the second one to finish."

Lucas glanced at Hanley. "Instead of arguing with the teacher, you might want to finish your cube. The order doesn't matter for competing, but running out of time does!"

Lucas shot Hanley a dismissive look and walked away, leaving Hanley practically vibrating with rage. It was all their fault.

"Look, a child is coming out!"

When the crowd saw it was Liana, Natalie excitedly grabbed Terence's wrist. "Look, it's Liana!"
