Nicholas was on his heavy motorcycle when Mrs. Lockwood said, “That thing doesn’t have room for two, and besides, she’s coming back to my place.”
“How about you give us the bike and take a cab home?”
“What did you say?”
Mrs. Lockwood snatched the keys, pushed Nicholas off, and swung her leg over the motorcycle. “Natalie, get on. We’re going home.”
Nicholas, who had been abruptly shoved aside, was just… speechless. He wanted to curse.
“Ma’am, don’t be reckless. My bike is really heavy.”
Just moments ago, he was calling her a beauty. Now, it was just “ma’am.”
“You know I’m an older woman, which means you should know I’ve got what it takes!”
If she didn’t show him a thing or two, she wouldn’t be doing the title justice.
“Natalie, get on.”
Nicholas’s motorcycle was heavy. Even some scrawnier guys struggled with it, let alone a woman. But to his surprise, Mrs. Lockwood just rode off, with Natalie holding on to her waist.
“Natalie, hold on tight.”
“Okay.”
The two of them left cheerfully, leaving Nicholas standing there alone.
That was his motorcycle.
What was even happening? Just then, backup for the guys who got beaten up earlier arrived.
Natalie looked behind them. “I think those troublemakers are back. Can Nicholas handle them by himself?”
“Don’t worry,” Mrs. Lockwood said. “I already called for backup. Look, they’re here.”
As Nicholas dealt with the trash, he suddenly felt like he’d lost on all fronts.

The Lockwood Estate
Terence received the message and sent some of his men to the bar ahead of him.
He was about to leave himself when he saw a heavy motorcycle roaring toward the Lockwood estate.
“How is it dangerous?” Mrs. Lockwood protested.
“When there’s no danger around, you are the danger.”
Mrs. Lockwood didn’t know what to say.

Ravencia’s contestant, who had placed second in the preliminary round, started spouting nonsense online after finding out the winner was a homemaker.
“I think there’s something wrong with these results. How could a homemaker possibly take first place? It’s an insult to all of us. It seems the people from Aurelis are just good at faking it, experts at cheating and creating hype.”
Watching the arrogant news report on TV, Lucas was furious.
“That guy is the worst! Daddy, we have to find him and make him apologize to Natalie publicly.”
Terence’s eyes were cold. He picked up his phone and said, “Handle the Ravencia contestant.”
Natalie quickly stopped him. “He’s questioning me. I’ll use my own skills to make him apologize. If you use your connections to help me, people will just think I used unfair methods.”
Terence wasn’t an impulsive man, but hearing someone insult Natalie like that infuriated him.

Time for Marie to get her end, this has gone on way too long, time to move on. It’s getting boring....
Payback time. Waiting for chapters 321 onwards!...
I love the sarcastic comebacks. Quite amusing!...
