Why did he get so emotional all of a sudden?
Did eating Natalie’s crab pastry make him miss her?
Maybe he wasn't so bad after all.

The Lockwood Residence.
Mrs. Lockwood approached Natalie with a secretive, excited grin.
“Natalie, quick, try on this sexy outfit I bought for you! And do you like this helmet? It’s Hello Kitty! We’ll put on these outfits, wear our Hello Kitty helmets, and ride the motorcycle. We’ll look so gorgeous and badass.”
Natalie looked at the outfit Mrs. Lockwood had bought for her. It was certainly sexy. And it certainly didn't use much fabric.
“Is this really an article of clothing? Are you sure you didn’t grab the wrong thing?”
What was this scrap of cloth even for? It was a little too small to even be a rag.
“You have such a great figure, and that gorgeous slim waist of yours has to be shown off. Look, I even bought us matching outfits!”
“Do I really have to wear this? I’m reporting for my first day at the research institute. It doesn’t seem appropriate.”
Today was Natalie's first day at Patrick’s institute. She had planned on taking a taxi, but Mrs. Lockwood insisted on taking her.
“I’ve prepared a professional outfit for you to change into when you get there. You can’t wear a business suit on a motorcycle; it would just look ridiculous. A motorcycle calls for a sexy outfit.”
Mrs. Lockwood grew more excited as she spoke, looking like she was about to lead Natalie on a quest to conquer the world. Natalie felt a bit awkward.
“Are you sure I have to wear this?”
“Absolutely. I’m going to go change now.”
Mrs. Lockwood skipped away happily to change her clothes. With her hair freshly tied up and the new outfit on, no one would have guessed she was old enough to be a mother-in-law.
Ignoring Mrs. Lockwood’s compliments and worried about being late, Natalie quickly put on the Hello Kitty helmet. It felt like she was burying her head in the sand.
As long as she was hidden inside the helmet, no one would know who she was.
On their way out, they passed Terence and Philip Greystone. Philip couldn’t help but remark, “Wow, those two ladies on the motorcycle have amazing figures. So beautiful and cool.”
“You like what you see? Go after them,” Terence said flatly.
“Mr. Lockwood, are you serious?” Philip asked, not having gotten a good enough look and genuinely wanting to make friends.
“Go after them, and I’ll make sure you learn your lesson.”
Philip was speechless. Why did it have to be harassment and not a romantic encounter? He didn’t look like a creep. Oh well, he should have known his boss wasn't a fan of scantily clad women.
Terence was in a hurry to find Natalie. Her start time was approaching, and he wasn’t sure if he could rely on his mother. If not, he needed to arrange for a driver so Natalie wouldn't be late.
Suddenly… Terence had a bad feeling.

Time for Marie to get her end, this has gone on way too long, time to move on. It’s getting boring....
Payback time. Waiting for chapters 321 onwards!...
I love the sarcastic comebacks. Quite amusing!...
