The blond man was about to lunge forward when the roar of a heavy motorcycle engine, like the bellow of an ancient beast, ripped through the air.
A shiver went down their spines. Looking back, they saw a motorcycle hurtling toward them. The rider saw them but only accelerated.
They scattered in all directions. Some stumbled and fell, scrambling away on their hands and knees.
The motorcycle charged again, sending them fleeing in terror.
Just as it was about to run over the lead creep, it screeched to a halt. The man nearly died of fright.
Nicholas dismounted swiftly and unleashed a flurry of punches, leaving the man’s face bruised and swollen.
“Who are you? How dare you hit me? Guys, what are you waiting for? Get him!”
The man’s cronies moved to attack, but within moments, Nicholas had them all on the ground.
They were beaten senseless but still tried to act tough.
“Who are you? Got the guts to tell us your name? I’ll make sure you pay for this later.”
“I’m Nicholas Fairchild, from the Fairchild family,” Nicholas said with cold arrogance.
The men’s blood ran cold. The Fairchilds were one of the most powerful and wealthy families in the country.
They had messed with the wrong person.
“The Fairchild family’s heir… We’re so sorry, sir! We were blind!”
“Let’s get out of here! We can’t afford to cross the Fairchilds!”
“Mr. Fairchild, our apologies, we’re leaving now.”
“Get lost!” Nicholas roared.
The men scrambled away in a panic.
Mrs. Lockwood and Natalie took off their helmets.
She had wanted to enjoy herself, but there were too many creeps around. Better to cover up.
No more sexy outfits from now on.
“Natalie, put this on quickly,” Mrs. Lockwood said with disgust. “There are too many perverts in this world.”
Nicholas was speechless. Was she talking about him?
“Mrs. Lockwood, I was just being a good Samaritan. How does that make me a pervert?”
“When we whooshed past you, are you sure it was our speed that caught your attention and not our good looks?”
Nicholas froze. The truth was, he thought he recognized Natalie’s silhouette, and that’s why he had chased after them.
“But I did save you, right? You don’t have to thank your rescuer, but at least don’t insult me, okay? It’s kind of heartb—”
Before Nicholas could finish, Mrs. Lockwood cut him off. “Thanks. We’re leaving now, O great rescuer.”

Time for Marie to get her end, this has gone on way too long, time to move on. It’s getting boring....
Payback time. Waiting for chapters 321 onwards!...
I love the sarcastic comebacks. Quite amusing!...
