She didn't dare open her eyes, hoping it was all just a hallucination.
Natalie’s world was shattering. Terence kissing her had already been a huge shock.
But now, seeing him use her phone to take a picture of them kissing and post it to her social media feed—her feed!—was beyond belief.
"Terence, what are you doing? Are you insane? How could you post that? That's my account!"
Natalie felt like the sky was falling. All her friends and family would see it.
She felt like she might as well be dead.
"If not on your feed, how about mine?"
Terence's voice was calm, as if he hadn't just said something completely outrageous.
He was actually going to post it on his own feed? What… what was he thinking?
She watched as Terence pulled out his own phone and opened the app. He wasn't joking.
"Terence, stop joking around. This isn't funny at all."
Natalie was so focused on stopping him from posting that she completely forgot she still needed to get even with him for kissing her in the first place.
All she could think was, *What if people see it?*
Seeing her panic, a slight smile touched Terence’s lips.
"Terence, give me back my phone! Now!"
Natalie tried to snatch her phone to delete the post, but there was no way Terence was going to let her.
"This post has to stay up for three days before you can delete it. It's your punishment!"
What? She had to leave it up for three days?
Was he kidding? After three days, everyone would have seen it. What would be the point of deleting it then?
"Terence, give me my phone."
Keith Wycliffe said skeptically, "Are you telling the truth? Natalie posted a picture of you with your grandson?"
"Of course! Just look at Natalie’s feed and you'll know. I just saw it myself. It's a beautiful picture. If you don't believe me, take a look for yourself."
Old Mr. Fairchild was so pleased with himself he was just short of hanging a banner in the retirement home announcing that Natalie had confirmed her relationship with his grandson and even posted a photo.
"Is that for real?"
Keith Wycliffe glanced at Rebecca Collins. That old man was gloating so hard, it was hard to tell if he was making it up.
"Natalie never posts anything on her feed."
Rebecca’s words jolted Keith. "That's right!" he exclaimed. "You old coot, you're trying to fool me! Natalie has never posted anything. And now you're claiming she made it official with a picture of your grandson? You didn't even bother to come up with a believable lie."
"It's true! Their caption was, 'Starting today, it will be a new beginning!'"
Old Mr. Fairchild was so thrilled he felt like he could fly.

Time for Marie to get her end, this has gone on way too long, time to move on. It’s getting boring....
Payback time. Waiting for chapters 321 onwards!...
I love the sarcastic comebacks. Quite amusing!...
