Victoria couldn't control her body. Her face was contorted, and she was terrified. She didn't want to go back to being paralyzed in bed. Her eyes widened in horror as she looked at Natalie, trying to speak, but only guttural sounds came out.
"Help... help me... please..."
"That's right, Mom, keep pointing at her. It was all her fault. If anything happens to you, you must haunt her even as a ghost."
Victoria was furious. She tried to push Marie away but couldn't.
At that moment, Darren wanted to take Victoria to the hospital.
"Mom, I'm taking you to the hospital. Don't worry, you'll be okay."
Darren tried to pick his mother up, but Victoria struggled, not wanting him to take her away.
As they passed by Natalie, she managed to grab onto Natalie's sleeve.
Kate saw this and quickly slapped Victoria's hand away. "Look at the state you're in, and you're still grabbing my daughter's hand. How dare you!"
Marie shouted, "What do you think you're doing? How dare you hit her!"
Victoria struggled and reached for Natalie again. With great difficulty, she managed to say, "Save... save... save me."
Victoria knew that even if they took her to the hospital now, they wouldn't be able to cure her.
After all, when her illness wasn't this severe, she had been to every hospital, and none could alleviate her symptoms.
Darren was furious, but seeing his mother's critical condition, he didn't want to argue with them.
"Natalie, she's not just my mom; you called her Mom for five years. We're all human, we have feelings. Are you just going to stand there and watch her become paralyzed again?"
Darren stared intensely at Natalie, demanding she treat his mother immediately.
Natalie looked at the desperate Darren and the terrified Victoria, then said coldly, "You should get her to a hospital. You're wasting precious time."
Victoria had thought Natalie would save her. After all, she was the kindest person she knew.
She remembered how Natalie had once found an injured dove in the yard and painstakingly cared for its wounds. How could she not save a living person!

Time for Marie to get her end, this has gone on way too long, time to move on. It’s getting boring....
Payback time. Waiting for chapters 321 onwards!...
I love the sarcastic comebacks. Quite amusing!...
