Caught Him Cheating My Life Restarted (Natalie) novel Chapter 354

Lucas reluctantly offered to lend his clothes to Hanley, but to his surprise, Hanley refused.

"Forget it. Who wants to wear your clothes!" Hanley said disdainfully.

"Well, well, well, rejecting my kindness, are we? Fine, I won't force you. But what are you doing at my house looking like this? I don't remember inviting you."

Hanley was mortified and angry. "I came to find my mommy!" he snapped.

Natalie still didn't understand how Hanley had suddenly shown up. Seeing him soaking wet, she said, "Come back to my room with me. You need to change out of those wet clothes."

Whatever had happened, Hanley needed to get dry.

"I'll take him to change first, and then I'll have him apologize to you!"

After all, her son was the one who had tried to push someone.

With that, Natalie led Hanley away. Liana gestured to Lucas again.

[Brother, if you don't lend him your clothes, what is he going to change into in Natalie's room?]

Lucas pouted. "But he said no. Am I supposed to beg him to accept my help?"

Natalie took Hanley to her room and handed him a fresh towel to dry off.

"You tried to push Terence into the lake and ended up falling in yourself! You brought this on yourself!" she said.

"It's because he stole my mommy!" Hanley retorted angrily.

Natalie had felt a glimmer of relief when Hanley agreed to apologize.

But now she saw it came with conditions—and the condition was for her to treat his grandmother. So that was the real reason he had come to the Lockwood estate.

"You came here to ask me to treat your grandmother?"

Hanley nodded. "Mommy, Grandma is paralyzed. She can't move in bed, and she can't control her body. She's in pain all the time. It's so sad to see. Please, Mommy, save Grandma. I know you have a way to cure her."

"I can't cure her."

When he heard his mother's refusal, Hanley became agitated.

"Mommy, why won't you help Grandma? She's my real grandmother, and she's always been so good to me! Now she just lies in her hospital bed, crying miserably every day. It makes me so sad to see her like that. Do it for me. Help her. Do you really want me to grow up without a grandmother?"
